Polyend Mess Step Sequencer Pedal is Cool SYNTH SAMURAI is live!

I have play and tracker by Polyend - my biggest gripe is the midi implementation and behavior of the two devices. Soundwise, they are outstanding. I would expect great sound from Polyend but also expect to put the Polyend device at the front or end of your midi chain. Just my opinion of course.

Unless you sold it Chroma Console covers a LOT of this territory with gesture capture. The claim of 120 "effects" is marketing. It covers all the bases, (short delay mod chorus/flange types, delay, reverb, drive/distortion, granular, and some looping) but like everyone it is several variations on each of those core effects. Anyone having a set of pedals with MIDI plus sequencer/MIDI effects could also "roll their own" though having it in a package like this is nice - metal box with some knobs, buttons, tiny display, I/O, and a SBC running digital effects plus sequencing and MIDI modulations. If for some reason it matters to you those VST effects are running inside the same metal box with the knobs and I/O (why that should matter in a studio setting is beyond me) then write a check for $600.
