God, I loved this show!

I would wake up early Saturday and watch this. Then watch The Zeta Project cartoon.

this used to come on after wb saturday mornings cartoons back in the day here in nyc. I would watch either fox kids or kids wb(back and forth) then california dreams would be on at nbc around 12 ish

The 90's vibe in this is strong. I miss the 90's and being a kid.

I seen ppl say California dreams is a rip off to saved by the bell. While there are similarities it isnt a rip off . After saved by the bell that channel ended up doing several shows that were similar on Saturday mornings. Comedies about teenagers dealing with teenage stuff in a light hearted manner

USE to watch this show on tnbc I was 8 in 1992 until I was 12 I 1996 huge fan saw NBC in 1990 I was 6 until i was 18 in 2002 remember watching chip pepper cartoon madness camp candy gravedale high karate kid kid n play prostars space cats wish kid city guys hang time running in the halls just real all about us captain n adventures of super Mario bros 3🤗

Apparently California wasn't always full of shanty homes.

I don’t remember that much about the actual show but I LOVED this theme song so much. 90s tv shows had some amazing theme songs (Family Matters, Step By Step, Saved By The Bell, Full House… just to name a few…) but honestly this was one of my favs. I was just confused because I only remember the show with Sam, so I must’ve watched it during the later seasons.

Im fortunate. A kid in the 80s, a teen in the 90s.....what a time to grow up. As soon as 2005 hit things got weird & nothing was ever the same. The internet ruined our culture.....even though, ironically, im typing this on the internet 🤷
