Very interesting video as I have never seen leaf springs removed and installed. Great job and explanation as usual!
ОтветитьI put new front leaf springs on my 2002 F350 7.3l diesel, 6spd manual, manual 4x4: because they had broken from that heavy engine. I got both sides for less than 140 total- shipped.. I was shocked at how cheap they were.. I believe they are rated for like 5500 lbs.. But they had a triple leaf that was rated for over 7k lbs; made for hanging a heavy plow on the front of the truck. I wish I would have bought the heavy set-- but they were more than double the price.
ОтветитьThe video was very helpful! I will do the same job to my truck. tacoma 2007 2.7L with springs from a tacoma 2022
ОтветитьMade in Mexico, no thanks!!
ОтветитьSo you kept the old u bolts?
ОтветитьAwesome thank you I'm doing a full restore on my truck after getting my frame replaced and needed this vid to help me.
ОтветитьGreat video. Might be doing this soon on my 2013 and this was helpful.
ОтветитьI thought the newer year was supposed to give our second gen the 1inch lift or so. I have a 2011 and my stock leaf spring only had 3 and the 2020 I bought added 1 extra which was 4 springs.
ОтветитьDid your Tacoma not fall under the recall? I just had mine replaced for free.
ОтветитьNice team work
