ОтветитьYour cousin's music perfectly fit the beautiful scenery. As always, l enjoyed your video. 🤗
ОтветитьFor me the music is my second most favorite part of your vids, thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьBen, I know what that piece is but it's use is just not coming to me yet, but I will keep in the front of my thinking, and I like the new shirts and will have to be in one soon. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьHey Ben,
I see you've injured your hand once again. You've got to be more careful. Ya'll have Sweet Gum trees up in those hills? I made an awesome diggin stick for rooting around in open holes so as not to scratch the silvers. Sweet gum cures super hard and is light weight. Keep up the good work.
Looking forward to checking out your gear. Prayers said for Liz's family. Sorry for the loss of your friend. Enjoyed watching the hunt and the music. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
ОтветитьCongrats on finding silver Ben. Always nice to see a Merc in your dirt. I have been thinking of talking to Detectees about some shirts for my channel as well. Look forward to seeing your's on their site. ATB Greg
Ответитьcongrats on the History Hound gear enjoyed your hunt thanks for sharing and good luck to you
ОтветитьBen, that country you live in is so beautiful, you are a lucky man to wake up and see that. Loved the relics you came up with, and your cousins playing on that do bro is outstanding.
ОтветитьGood video Ben! Congratulations on growing to the point of being able to have merchandise for sale
Ответитьanother home run brother
ОтветитьGreat video Ben, enjoyed it fully. Prayers for Rick indeed. What a good bunch of folks. Thanks for more artifact knowledge. Love the first find, not sure there. Nice lead seal. Still on the bucket. Love the playing!!
Tc and Happy Hunting my friend
Great video Ben.
ОтветитьHey Ben, Enjoyed the video as usual and the finds. Like that gear too.
ОтветитьThe T-shirt doesn't look a bit like you.Great finds.
ОтветитьYour cousin has a serious Tallent. Really smooth and soothing sound. This video could well be, the best metal detecting video I personally have ever watched. It too, struck all the right notes and was an extreme pleasure to watch. Really well done, thanks for posting.
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video Ben. And I am one that has always wondered about your intro music. Such a privilege to be able to hear your cousin play, and now knowing that we will be able to hear a few more pieces in time. You must let him know (that at least I), and I'm sure many others are grateful he is willing to do this. Really looking forward to that, and of course more videos from you :)
Thank you for bringing up Liz. She is the sweetest lady, and yes felt like a grandmother. I have talked to her several times...even on the phone. Rick and I are good friends. Even gave him my old video camera for his videos. It just felt right ya know. I soon as I met him and his wife I was hooked. Both are really down to earth people. So sad about her passing, but you are right. She is in a much better place, and not feeling anymore pain that she was going thru.
Take care Ben. Congrats on this nice finds.
Hope all is well your way.
Happy hunting!
John
Cool idea with the shirts !! Nice hunt as well :) Enjoyed it, Best of luck next time out. HH
ОтветитьHey Ben! Nice video and good looking shirts! That second piece you found amongst the flat button area sure looks like a colonial/early 1800’s saddle strap guide. I could be wrong. I usually find them with the wire long gone and it will just have two holes in it. Definitely hit that site low and slow. Nice Merc & wheats! Always nice to see some artifacts and that was cool at the well. Take care and HH!
ОтветитьThat was very nice Ben, thank you so much.
The reason she typed in all caps was so she could somewhat see it, even with her computer magnified to 250 times, her eyes had gotten that bad. Thank you and thanks to our whole detecting family in here.
Sorry too hear about the sweet lady that passed away. Cool properties and yes sometimes it pays too go down towards the water
ОтветитьOmg Ben I am always talking to gma Liz too,she was awesome and so nice I'll definitely go to her husband's chnl and give condolences,as far as the clothes I'll definitely be getting me a t-shirt, loved the video, you found some great targets buddy,be calling you one evening brother HH Brian
ОтветитьYou really know how to hurry a guy by showing them mountains in full color. Great video buddy. Carl HH
ОтветитьNice video dude. Keep them coming h h
ОтветитьHey man. You’re definitely on to some old site now man. I remember someone telling me one time there’s nothing old over there. Ha ha. Nice video as always and cool finds. Man you’re getting pretty fancy and famous now with your own shirts now
ОтветитьThanks for the great video, Ben, especially the lesson in artifact detection. I love the new dobro tune, also. I haven't commented in a while, but I'm still watching regularly. Sorry to hear about Liz. I subscribe to Rick's channel and I notice he hasn't posted in a while. Now I know why. Again, thanks for sharing your adventures and knowledge with us. God bless!
ОтветитьThank you Caleb!!!!!
ОтветитьAlso preforms will be big sometimes. The Uwharrie Indians around morrow mtn would trade them to other tribes in the area. I have found preforms up in my area that had to have come from morrow mtn as they are Rhyolite.very good finds. Its a old core of a volcano.....here is info on Rhyolite its was the most common point material.......Morrow Mountain Rhyolite, a metarhyolite, is used to refer to a series of mixed lava flows producing a sheet-like deposit. The rapid cooling of the lava and the low-grade metamporphism of the region produced the good-to-excellent conchoidal fracture of the stone. This type is a homogeneous dark gray, aphanitic, aphyric rhyolite that commonly exhibits flow banding, especially on slightly weathered surfaces. However, on recently flaked rhyolite, the flow lines are difficult to see. When present, flow lines are thin, only a few millimeters. Extremely old and weathered debris exhibit a chalky grayish-white exterior. Some specimens exhibit small spherulites, ca. 1 mm in diameter, which appear as tiny patches of radiating fibers (Daniel & Butler 1996). Distribution
Daniel reported that Uwharrie rhyolite is distributed widely across the piedmont of North Carolina and down into South Carolina.Cultural Implications
Uwharrie rhyolite was used from Early Archaic through the Late Woodland periods
Formerly Frugal Drew - Ayyyye thanks for not cleaning that coin on your pants!!! Also what a great coin. Mercury dimes are my favorite coin that isnt featuring and indian. Great video you put together man. Absolutely love the indian artifacts as well!
ОтветитьThank you. Great video as always. You seem to be a very sincere man, and a great example to the hobby. Every time I comment on your videos, I always want to say something different, but always seem to say the same thing, lol. Keep doing what you’re doing, man.
ОтветитьDid you ever find out what that one piece near the start of video was ? The u shaped item with plate across the opening of the u !
