From the way it was bouncing down the freeway, it definitely needs shocks/struts
ОтветитьE36 tourings are sick af.😍 Always been a bmw guy all my life, My first car i did buy when i passed for my driving licence, was a 99 Boston Grun E36 323i Coupe. Wich i still own to this day... I dont want to be a dick, but 5w40 isnt the right oil our we are talking about a high mileage car right here, the valve seals doesnt like it all if it always had 5w30 in its life, i been there and done it on mutiple e36's end they all ended up beeing oil thirsty. Castrol 5w30 is the way to go. what is prescribed by bmw, on the m52 engines, m50 engines are way less sensitive to other types of oil.
ОтветитьSolid Episode I mean they all are but ….
ОтветитьI don't know if you guys can help me I'm across the country in Atlanta but I have also imported a 36 touring but after it got here I had a tree fall on the rear hatch and destroyed it. would you guys happen to have any connection in Europe where I can order a new rear hatch ?
ОтветитьI’m watching this in Germany and the smoking thing is huge here 😢
ОтветитьIn my opinion, the stock BMW rims looks way cooler.
ОтветитьIt's so weird to see someone import one of these, they are everywhere here. It's almost the same as importing a Camry to Europe.
ОтветитьEven here in Europe the Touring is a rare, ive been looking for one in my country for a while and the prices if you find one are pretty expensive even if its a 1.6l
ОтветитьNever sleep on the wagons man so much more you can do with them and in them vs a coupe or sedan. Granted a lot of them are just butt ugly but this one and a select few others have style that's unmatched.
ОтветитьAs the owner of a 276k mile 4 door daily driver, there's really no match. It's got great reliability, amazing presence, plenty of interior space for most, and takes up barely any space on the road.
Ответитьto perfectly & and easily fix a sagging head liner..for a few euros..buy wall paper (water base) glue and use a large brush (not a roller) and just apply generously all over ..let dry with open doors, within a few hours ,it will have stretched itself to near perfection (even better than new..!!)recover its original color..done it on few cars last year..magic trick for sure..
Ответитьreally need to get rid of the Chicken tariff that keeps cars like this out of our grasp for so long...
Ответитьthe chunky tyres give it a "just for fun" drag car look
ОтветитьSo if it was so easy, when are we buying an R31 Mike?
ОтветитьHi, you said 300.000 km, it s not less even in Germany! But it will run even more with regular maintenance, i m not a BMW guy but i know the VANOS valve controlle/adjustment needs some attention, if it s in this engine!
ОтветитьWagons for life!! Please, please....some mild tint. Haha
Ответитьplz show more of the daily build!!
ОтветитьI drove my 96 325 TDS Touring from SF to Chicago and back and maybe 7 people cared. I think most thought it was some kind of Jetta, lol.
ОтветитьHow many dead pixels does it have?
ОтветитьWhat kind of BBS's are on Khalil's M3? Looks sick!
Btw, European here. The Tourings never caught on over here compared to the coupes and sedans. They are usually a lot cheaper and less desirable. Still think this one is gonna look good with some coilovers, wheels and other knick knacks :)
vEven us yuropeens appreciate pretty e36 wagons, cause they have gotten kind of rare over here. And are usually ratty or rotting away.
Ответитьthe cup holder?!?!?
Ответитьwhat wheels are those?
Ответитьi like those wheels it came in
ОтветитьYes, the rear hatch can be replaced due to rust, but where would you source one here in the USA? Guess I'm old but I don't like the slammed, wheels don't fit look. Super cool car though, I'd love to have one, with an S52 swap
ОтветитьI’m curious what camera(s)/lens(s) were used for this episode?
ОтветитьAs an E36 guy. I just go my first wagon and love it
ОтветитьGonna need an update on this one, thanks.
ОтветитьSuch a shame the US got robbed of so many cool wagons (and small hatchbacks) because the market prefers big trucks and SUVs. They aren't even used the way they "should" be by 95% of people that own them and wagons would serve the same purpose but be cheaper all around.
ОтветитьI had the latter E46 "M" Sport one of those for a few years. Makes lots of noise but no power as it was an Auto. I found the suspension was very harsh and it wasnt kind to bushes. If that car was mine id replace the 2 liter with a 3 and put some good springs, dampers and bushes on it.
ОтветитьThe seller of this one lucked out big time, bet the guy couldn’t believe his luck seeing the asking price being dropped into his bank account and the thing being shipped away to the other side of the ocean, sight unseen.
ОтветитьHe needs to roll the arches.
Ответитьi got my german long roof from OAI. went to the port and drove 3 hours home. i didnt check the oil though FULL SEND
ОтветитьOh man, i went there 10 years ago, i know how you feel, absolutely incredible!
ОтветитьThe water preference fist bumps got me 😂
ОтветитьIf the thumb title etc had said "our bmw classic department visit"... i would have 10 x more likely to click on this
ОтветитьSLAM IT
ОтветитьI've owned tuned e91 and e61 bmw wagons,I'm from nz,we love our station wagons as it suits our lifestyle, surfing, mountain biking etc.
People even use these for drifting here in new zealand.
Long live the long roof💪💪💪
Kinda weird seeing people so excited about a touring. They are so common here! I used one as a drift missile 😂
It has blown shocks on the back. Was so bouncy!
Coolant leak is normally the water pump.
ОтветитьYa boi still got them PA plates. 🙌🏻
ОтветитьIt is really cool to see that more and more of you guys from the States get your hands on these amazing Tourings! Will also be interesting to see the registration process in CA.
Btw, a small ad, if any of you guys are looking to buy E30 or E36 Tourings from Europe - just let us know, we will source, inspect and ship the car to you in the States.
Try not to generalize Europe. There are many countries in Europe, and some of them never experience snow.
ОтветитьCurious as to why you’d import this… what’s the difference between this and the US E36?
ОтветитьM Parallel wheels would've fitted so much better
Ответитьput the original wheels back on as they look better than the chromed bbs wheels. Love the car though. Nice find
ОтветитьI had an E36 328i touring for 2 years funest car I ever had. Bone stock but lowered 30mm and on 17 inch alpina's with a short shift, with a full scorpion exhaust, so actually not that bone stock but a lot of fun. Noisy fun 😍. Don't go to crazy keep it simple and enjoy 👌.
ОтветитьWhat is the wheel name on coupe
ОтветитьI've had so many E36 as winter cars, absolutely destroying them sideways here in Sweden. Back in the days it was a cheap fun car, same with E30s. I've had 22 of them. Today they are expensive 🙈
