My issue has always been the cowards at Rockstar throwing the modders (and some of their own employees) under the bus because of money. This was a corporate entity with the lawyers & funds to fight a public battle that Houser & others had every intention of kicking off... until they found out it would impact sales. They still fought to keep the content in though, right until the last moment... knowing that it would create a firestorm, because they had used similar shock tactics to sell GTA before.

So for the C-suite to sign off on a blame campaign when they actually got the fight they were wanting is complete cowardice. All talk, no balls.

And I have zero sympathy for these guys whinging about how it was "a tough time" being hauled before the FTC & all the govt pressure... the consequences of their actions came calling & they didn't have the backbone to accept them.

They'd rather ruin Patrick's life to protect themselves & their profits... thankfully it didn't escalate too far, but having to call lawyers to ensure that Rockstar's bulls**t didn't impact his business & life in a completely different country is unacceptable.

And not even having the common decency to look at the time zones before calling Patrick to "thank him" is the icing on Rockstar's B.S. cake. Absolute clowns.
