Seems more suited for Europe where hatchbacks are more popular. But, huge. I saw one in Brussels and it was a hulk in traffic.

This has got to be one of the ugliest cars ever made.

Love it. I'm a chauffeur, and SPACE is so important - the 6GT is sedan-like enough to use as a limo, but with a fantastic boot. Even if BMW lowered the price of the 7-series to match it, I'd STILL prefer the 6 GT due to the practicality. Well done BMW!

In the states, these are getting heavily discounted to the point it cost basically the same as a X3 M40i. I would definitely pick this over the X3

The 5 Series GT ( which is what this re badged car is ) was based on the 7 Series platform and was never based on the 5 series platform - so nothing new here.

New 3.0GT6 diesel xdrive arrived in September - so far completed 3,000 miles in total comfort and averaging 42 to the gallon. Love it!

Rebecca is charming, but the number of incorrect facts at first minutes of this video is shocking. The statement that 5GT F07 was based on 5-series F10/F11 insulted me, as previous owner of 5GT 530d and 5GT 535i X-drive. "Only beaten by Mercedes 2.9L diesel" - sorry what?? "A7 and CLS" - should not be mentioned in this review.

Had 2 5GTs... Brilliant cars. Looked at the 6GT - not as good, so I've got a 7 series instead. Much better!

Excellent car and as fast as you like in 640i version. I sold my 7 series to buy this as I did not like looking like a chauffeur and I appreciate the huge load space -more than a 5 series Touring - for real world driving. I would direct serious buyers to the ‘savagegeese’ review of this car which shows the technology of the underpinnings of this car.

I owned one and I liked it but with the run flat tires the ride is awful and the car feels toyish.
Make sure you get regular tires for it.

Your bottom has definitely gone on the large side as well

I know its an old video, but why would you make a shaped centre rear seat section- instead of it being flat-so the 5th passenger could actually sit more comfortably. Still to this day car companies get this so wrong

Beautiful and so much more practical than Mercedes CLS - not only Merc is built for minions, at the back your head will hit the ceiling if you're taller than average 13yo plus the boot doesn't open hatch back style. Completely impractical, not to mention some poor quality interior elements like scratchy plastics. I've owned 5GT, which looks much better interior quality than 6GT but still a very decent substitute.

Does it suffer the air suspension failure issues that the 5GT always has

The 5 Series GT is not 5 Series based. It's just as much 7 Series based as the 6 Series GT.

I think a bus would be better at cornering. And possibly better looking as well.

Wow she is really attractive

This is in no way better than a Mercedes CLS or Audi A7.
The CLS looks cool and sophisticated and looks far more modern inside.
The Audi A7 also smashes this in the face on both counts too.
