@glockzup It's used for a chemistry demonstration on how catalysts work. The potassium iodide catalyzes the decomposition of the hydrogen peroxide. The hydrogen and oxygen are trapped by the liquid soap and make a "marshmallow". This is frequently called 'elephant's toothpaste'

Katersrocks you're the one that needs to learn some basic spelling rules: in American English, it is spelt "spelled" whereas in British English it is, in fact, correct to spell it "spelt". Same goes for many other words, such as learned/learnt.
