Both have 2x 2.1 hdmi. i understand hisense, but Sony is lacking in this feature especially for the price. I'm looking at these tv sets and the g4.

I am sure it will be for it's price. They seem to improve every year. For me only Bravia 9 exist. Seen videos of it and even though most of the video was over exposed. It was amazing in bloom control and when the exposure was lower it was still so bright it blew out the picture. It will be amazing.

spending almost 6,000 dollars in a 85 inches 4k tv I better buy the 120 inches version of Hisense TV o even better a 4k laser projector with a 150 inches ALR projector screen

You can't say Hisense isn't trying to keep up with the competition. All of a sudden théy have
U9N in their 2024 lineup. Things that make you go huh lol ha ha ha ha ha. Might be a very good TV for a lot of people. We shall see.😊

Hisense is a value to spec tv, but doesn’t compare in image processing, color accuracy while maintaining vibrancy and depth , that doesn’t mean it can’t be saturated, but upscaling is worse than Samsung and it’s build quality on majority of models under 1500 just doesn’t hit the mark unfortunately . Those who want specs and what will get them by without needing too much or the best performance and want to save money is who that tv is for. No discussion.

These types of comparisons is exactly what we need! I was debating between the Sony X90L and the Hisense U7K and ended up getting the U7K based on FOMO's recommendation for a X90L picture quality TV for almost half the price - and I couldn't be happier! Sony is a great brand but these days, you can get a similar picture quality TV for half the price. No brainer! Keep these videos coming FOMO!

I don't know about new version of Hisense but 60% of broken TV's i see on the streets are H's and they are realy, REALY terible quality, inside-out, parts or visual.
So you gonna tell me H's are better than Samsung, which got always fresh and newest texnology inovations available, even it don't use DV engine???
It's kind a hard to believe to be true, especially H's got very SHORT LIFE and don't last as Sammys or Sony.

Bravia 9 will have better processing, sound and light control. Sure if we talking brightness but that’s where the buck ends.

I don't see only having 2-hdmi 2.1 ports a huge issue, being that this is more of a cinema experience tv and less of a gaming one. Plus either you have a receiver or even soundbar and still another 2.1 port.

I'll speak from a "poor man's" perspective: while it's true that the Hisense U9N is inexpensive for its size and quality, many of us in lower income brackets who appreciate great picture quality don't live in big houses that have the wall space to accommodate 75"-85" TVs (!)

Poor man's? 😂 I would NEVER spend that kind of money even if i was a multi millionaire just to sit and stare at a screen. I could take that money and live in the real world and have fun enjoying life as our creator intended for us to do. I find it completely and utterly absurd that anyone would spend that kind of money just to stare into a screen living a fake life. My phone that I'm writing this message on is a galaxy s20 that I paid 180 dollars for.

FOMO niche ask but do you happen to have a retrotink 4k? ive been curious how it performs on non OLED tv's as a retro gamer but I haven't made the jump and grabbed it because Im unsure if I need an OLED or not with a device like that for it to really emulatr a crt. TOTALLY COOL IF ITS TOO MUCH OF AN ASK, figured it was worth asking tho.

I just got the A95L and it has a magenta purple tint when watching content. I don’t have this issue with the S90C. Are there any settings I can change to get rid of the magenta purple?

If I'm spending $2,000 I sure as hel* NOT buying a Hisense. That kind of money is reserved for Sony, LG, and Samsung. I wish we could get the Panasonic TVs here in the states. In my opinion, Panasonic makes some of the best TVs on the planet... and the money is worth it... just like a Sony. I own one hisense and the panel has developed yellow/tan bright spots. It makes it hard to view. This should not happen to a 5 year old TV. So I'm forgetting about Hisense and spending the extra money on a Sony. The last Sony I had is still in a bedroom and working great. The problem with Hisense is its
Quality Control of the panels... it's a lottery I don't want to play.

I am interested in a comparison of my two narrowed down choices I plan to buy (in 85 inch size) for my dark room theater (OLED's are more expensive), the Hisense U9N and the TCL Q851 (2024 model QM8). They both have improved processors (supposedly) over previous year models 😀. I will only play 4K, Blu-rays and DVDs on my up-scaling Panasonic DP-UB820 and PC/Xbox Series X games, so I am not concerned with low quality content processing.

Why people only talks about boys…. What about contrast and color volume and saturation compared to Oled g4 and Samsung s90d and a95l

So I watched this video last night and from having read the Specs from Best Buy by comparing it to the U7 N the other day. The U8 N has 2.1.2 Surround sound. I'm going to this in October instead of the U7. I'll be getting a Best Buy credit card in October.
