I'd like to apologize for the long rant in advance but hopefully I can present my point in a sensible manner and provide an interesting argument instead of sounding like a bigot. I think I haven't commented before on your videos but I'm triggered by all the Sansa love. I just don't understand why everybody here seems to want her on the throne. I love your videos but this is a thing that has been buggering me for a while now. I don't have an issue with her becoming the queen per se, but I think that her plotline is so forced and completely unbelievable if she gets to win the throne. At least that's how I feel how her story is presented in the show, it might also be weak acting that makes me feel this way. Regardless she seems like very naive and powerless, her winning the throne would feel unjustified to me.

Worse still, since GRRM likes to foreshadow things I believe Sansa would be a terrible and unhappy Queen. She said to Cersei in one of the earlier seasons something like: "I want to be just like you". I wouldn't want that and frankly this is the only evidence I've seen in the show pointing to her becoming the queen. All the political intrigue seems to be gone from the series and she has no other leverage than that which would support her getting the throne. Unless you would argue that she could marry herself to the next king but I think we've seen that plot enough already. It wouldn't fit the theme of the story either, the world is changing and the only way this could happen would be if Baelish wins the throne somehow (which he still wants apparentally). And if she were to marry Baelish it would deflate the point of her story completely.

I've generally been very disappointed with the show lately as it has felt more like watching things unfold the way they are supposed to instead of watching interesting and surprising events or a story. However when it comes to Sansa's personality I can see her turning more and more into Cersei. However I fear that the show will go to the direction that you've describe where Sansa is going to sit on the throne. Unfortunately I don't see any good or believable way of this happening so it's probably going to happen by some deus ex machina trick that D&D will pull out of their... minds. And this will completely ruin the once great television show for me.

I have a question for smart people like you are, and that is about Euron. I've seen the video about Euron and his similarity with the Odisseus, but this character is deep. I see that he is a pirate that the kingdoms of westeros have to fear and have to condidere when they go to a battle at the sea; if not now he will be on next season/book.

The question is this there any pirate that is similar to the great pirate Euron in the real history, like Davy Jones is real?

I agree Kit Harrington is a bad actor. I think his performance improved somewhat in season 6, but it's still not nearly up to the quality of the actors around him. Emilia Clarke is also either a crappy actress or just not right for this role. Surprisingly, the remaining Starks, all cast when the actors were very young, are pretty well acted. In my opinion at least.

Cersei = Marie Le Pen.

Man without Qualities. An unforgettable book, a expansive novel of ideas but filtered through the finest grains of subjectivity and language. BRAVO!

I love to see two channels I really enjoy in the same video. Very cool. One of the greatest things about GoT is how it transcends borders, beliefs, and brings everyone together around the water cooler. Here I am, a Christian male in Eastern Canada, deep in the Maritimes, listening avidly to two guys in the middle east (with a special appearance by the sweet and beautifil Val) talking about one of my favorite shows and hanging on their every word. Awesome.

I always thought you were saying, "What once was, will never be again," but just mispronouncing it as a kind of joke.

I kind of felt like some of the main characters' story arcs fell flat this season. The writers had a difficult time weaving together all the story lines and didn't really have the freedom to write because they just have a vague idea about where GRRM will end up for the final season and the end of the series. So Jon Snow sort of lost his character. Or maybe his character is supposed to be half dead? Arya's journey to be no one and then her escape was terribly awkward. Tyrion's story made me wonder what happened to him. Arya and Tyrion were my favorite characters, and their stories this season were disappointing.

If the eagles flew toward Mordor, the eye would see them coming and the Nazgul together with the will of Sauron would have been able overcome the eagles and take the ring. Black wins, the end.

the way itamar feels about the man without qualities is the way i feel about steppenwolf, so the fact he likes both of them means ill definitely check it out :o

Im sorry to both you and the girl but Sansa will not survive. She is not going to make it to the end. The only 5 characters making it to the end of the books are Tyrion, Jon, Danny, Bran and Arya. This is my astrological prediction.

About that Lord of the Rings plothole with the eagles. (Im just assuming here, based on what i read from fans)Tolkien didn't use the eagles because they werent powerful enough to fight sauron's nazgul, in the presence of sauron('s eye). However, when the ring was detroyed or when the eagles felt they have a chance, they came to rescue. The nazgul were undead remember? Cursed to live until sauron's ring unbinds them, by being destroyed in mount doom. Also, Tolkien used the eagles always as a last resort, some sort of "Act of God". Maybe they were some kind of angels in his fantasy world? I know it's fantasy so there isnt really a need to discuss this, but i felt like this is not a plothole, it's just how Tolkien balanced his world ("Go(o)d vs. Evil"). :)

I read A Prayer for Owen Meany also. It was an interesting book in that I kept thinking while reading it "this book is stupid, but I.m going to hang in there and finish" And then after I read the last page, I put the book down and thought "that was a good book"
