I don't like skeet for the simple reason that it doesn't represent real life shooting and it ends up being more about repetition than actual shooting. Having said that, it was much better before the rules changed. That isn't even skeet anymore.

I'm not a skeet or trap shooter yet. But ISSF your rules are BS, Who makes or comes up with these rules? I mean I'll gladly send a message on how to make this easier to understand and make the shooters happy(possibly I'm someone who makes sure the clays never go out the same every 3 times ;)

I can think of two ways to make it challenging again. 1.) Go back to old format but crank up the clays to 70km/hr. 2.) Oscillate vertical flight path at random a degree or two out of the high house. This will reduce the effect of repetition training and muscle memory. This will make the game feel more like hunting. Just a suggestion to ISSF.

Bogs, You are right. I always waited for World Cups to see the finals. You could learn watching the full round. I don't think I'm going to watch the new finals anymore. I'm very sorry.

ISSF did not considered the new and the regular shooters that are not sponsored, now they have to spend more time and money to practice the new reverse doubles. A good way to hurt the sport and the shooters, especially the young kids.

They have to do it like that because the game is to easy for shooters at this level.....they would be shooting until someone died in a regular game of skeet

I don't feel like, I am watching skeet shooting anymore. I feel like, I watching trap shooting. The new system is just shoot station 3,4,5 over and over witch

These new rules are not only stupid but also take away from the game. Its like watching a really long shootout.

Watching the videos would be much more exciting if you did not mention the winner already in the first lines of the text ... :-(

yes < that should be in Qualifying rounds but in the final has new system now , this system start after Olympics of London 2012

New set up for this year where in the semis and finals they only shoot doubles from 3,4 & 5

i thought in skeet shooting single then double target. They shoot 2 doubles
