Mikaela, good to see you're questioning your decisions. I'll weigh in on some more benefits of doing this channel. First and most important, you are leaving a digital legacy. Who knows when immortality arrives, or whether we really need it, but until then, saving your existence online leaves an imprint in a wider societal context. Second, you video is a paramount medium. By keeping the channel you keep your technical skills, scheduling, editing, etc. Even if it brings no money now it will later. If the fool would persist in his folly, he would become wise.

Also, about CEO's - the grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side. ALWAYS. There are CEOs who dream of giving it all and buying some farming land, there are farmers who dream of just getting an entry level job at a big company, there are all kinds of people and all kinds of "fits". So a CEO might seem like successful now, but who knows how he got there and what he had to sacrifice, was it worth it? And kudos if it does to some, but definitely not to all.

I don't understand why people measure other people by how much money they make. I prefer what Socrates said: imagine a blank piece of paper. If you have a piece of paper the size of a football field, but it has a stain - is it more white than the piece of paper that is the size of A4, but does not have a stain? (Answer for people who don't understand: the small piece of paper is more white, because it does not have a stain - it is relatively more white.) You can't cheat your soul - even if people kiss your ass because you're "great", it doesn't undo all your bad deeds. Freud interpreting a dream (from one of his books): a chair covered in excrement, being cleaned by urine. Freud's interpretation: illusion of greatness. What I say next is a matter of faith and it cannot be proven and it is not necessarily true at all. Socrates at the last chapter of Plato's Republic said that our lives should be focused on purifying our souls, because it is what lives on to the next life. When Socrates had been deemed to death by drinking poison - his friend offered to save him. Socrates did a comedy-roast to his friend - saying that if you live on the wave length of a pig - will you not be reborn as a pig? My interpretation was that Socrates was roasting the people who deemed him to death, saying they're bad people and will have their weights measured in the afterlife.

Now. I personally. I've been saying this kind of stuff all my life. And whenever I talk about this kind of stuff, people always spit on my face. But as Jesus said: if your message is not welcome, dust your clothes and go somewhere else, where your message is welcome. As it was said in Veritasium's video about Game Theory: bad people will eventually be shunned by good people - and they can only be around bad people after that. The gates of heaven are barred, and they get to live with other bad people like themselves. Or as I like to say "they get to boil in their own urine."

I feel like it's a tyranny. Why can't we be happy that other people just exist. Why do they have to be person + money. Why can't they just be 'person'. I guess it's about consumerism. What can you do for me? Objectivising other people, instead of listening to the other person, seeing who they are. People ask "what do you do" instead of "who are you?" It's just empty, so empty to me. And by the way - nobody ever cared about who I am. I am so much more than my profession - but nobody cares. Nobody can look outside the box. Crabs in a bucket mentality: crab could get out of the bucket if he was alone, but because there's other crabs in the bucket, the other crabs pull the crabs leg, and pull him down.

Nobody stops and thinks - but I don't recommend you to think - if you start thinking - it's like that inception scene - where everyone in the dream start staring at you, angrily. As Socrates said, in his allegory of the cave: if someone were to try and free the other cave dwellers, this someone (Socrates or Jesus, for example) would get put to death.

Mikaela oh, I think you upset and angry? First - your channel is interesting and help us learn english. Second- you can make videos less often and not necessarily and only do them when you are in a good mood and want to - we will wait as long as it takes. Third - it doesnt matter what anyone thinks - you dont owe anyone anything.Fourth -we treat you well and appreciate you, but that doesnt mean you owe us any thing. Have a good day❤

CEO. Been there, done that. Yawn. What truly drives someone to continue decade after decade is personal fulfillment. Fix your inner self to not desire mundane pointless aspirations unless being a CEO is actually your cup of tea.
