I don't care how badly I am hurt my @$$ is not being transported in a clear view drop tank of a p38.
ОтветитьIt's the fighters of the euro theatre rather then that of ww2
ОтветитьAnyone can tell me a really good ww2 documetary that fui de me to it...Thank you so much...Blessings to you all from puerto rico with lots of love
ОтветитьYour point??? There were 5 fronts in WW. II are you butt hurt???😂😂🙄
ОтветитьExcellent, fair, balanced documentary. Outstanding! 💛🙏🏼
ОтветитьBf 🤣👌🏻
ОтветитьBf legend on this world 🌎 🤔🤣👌🏻
Ответить😯
ОтветитьBf legad of old warld war on 🤔😅
Ответитьgood video but what happened to the Mitsubishi Zero? The land of the rising sun should have bumped that italian garbage.
ОтветитьVery surprised that the F6F Hellcat is never mentioned!!!!!!!!!!! I was the main US Naval fighter in the Pacific and had a kill rate of 19 - 1. And I believe it was the plane flown by George Bush # 1.
ОтветитьI disagree with the ranking of these planes. They completely forget about Japan's zeros a way better plane and it caused more damage then most people realize. As a matter of fact nazi Germany took the engineering design for the first jet fighter from Japan's zero
ОтветитьNo Japanese fighters.
Ответить"Without my airplane I am useless. Without me my airplane is useless".
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the plane in the thumbnail?
ОтветитьWhile I love me some Corsair, my father actually worked on them while in the Marines, it was not the finest naval fighter of WW2, that title goes to the F6F Hellcat, which actually flew from carriers, and had a kill ratio better than any other fighter of the war, and destroyed more aircraft in the Pacific theater than all others combined. It's biggest downfall, it didn't look the part, and thusly omitted here..
ОтветитьDefinitely narrated by an English man spitfire only immortal plane the mustang saved England the true legend
ОтветитьI can’t believe this Brit omitted the fact that the Brits figured out how to land the F4U on carriers. Then the US decided to keep the Corsair and use them on carriers. Also the F4U was the last piston powered aircraft to shoot down a jet in the Korean War.
ОтветитьAll superb machines, but the p51 is the best piston engine fighter period.
ОтветитьHITLER WAS A POMPOUS ASS HOLE, HEE WAS SURROUNDED AND DIDNT KNOW IT
ОтветитьThe British boast about making 7,781 "Mosquitoes". ~NATURE~ makes millions of them!
ОтветитьVery good, but no mention of F6F or any Japanese fighter
ОтветитьIn the opening shots 0.53 that is in no way an ME109 but American Kittyhawk or Tomahawk mocked up.tut tut!
ОтветитьNo Japanese fighters, no Russian Yak.
ОтветитьGood video, but my issue is that it mainly talks about British fighters, sprinkled with others.
ОтветитьAwesome!! Info thanks
ОтветитьI understand the Brits' love for the Spitfire but the Mustang and the Corsair are also legendary airplanes. For me, the Mustang is the masterpiece of masterpieces.
ОтветитьSo many amazing planes were made during ww2, no matter the nation.
ОтветитьNo way P38 put down more Japanese planes than the Hellcat. Pretty sure there are more Hellcat aces than anyother plane not called the Spitfire...
ОтветитьThe P-51 Mustang is definitely the coolest looking. That's a sexy aircraft.
ОтветитьGotta love the British way of themselves and the Spitfire a good shine. While NEVER admitting that it was designed because of German aero research and that the only reason they didn’t do more R&D for other fighter is because they couldn’t afford to.
ОтветитьLeft out the sons of Nippon, eh??makes u wonder......
ОтветитьFW 190 looks like a mini Fury. Beautiful plane.
ОтветитьIncredible what mankind will do to kill each other...
Ответить116? Uh I-16
ОтветитьWithout both the spitfire and Hurricane there would never have been a D-Day or the conquest of tyrany. Not only did Britain owe so much to so few but the entire free world. The boys of the RAF kept the lights on whilst the whole of Europe was living in darkness.
ОтветитьWhat a quotable quote, “It is often said that a fighters acceptance for success is its suitability for development and adaption.” (And this was from memory without rewinding, but how very apt.
ОтветитьGreat aircraft engineering. My personal favourite is the Mosquito, but the Corsair, P-51, Spitfire and Hurricane were also legends of WW2
ОтветитьWom is user ok
ОтветитьP40 damn good
ОтветитьNavy rules cosair Japanese afraid 😨
ОтветитьThe II-2 from Russia built 36,150 +
ОтветитьA luftwaffe deserter😮😮😮😮 we heard a different story of a pilot who mistaken the airfield and a British ground crew who put a gun on the pilots head before realizing the error. The pilot later committed a suiside😂😂😂😂 both versions after the war
Ответитьi like the P51 Mustangs
what's the Intro Music.
Surprised there was no mention of the Japanese Zero.
ОтветитьBeautiful documentary!!!
ОтветитьIn talking about the MC202, the narrator did NOT mention that.the radial engine of the MC200 was replaced by a German DB601 INLINE engine, with considerably more horsepower.
ОтветитьThe P-40 was as fast if not faster than it's adversary the Zero. So idk wtf this narrator is talking about. Curtiss is from my city, Buffalo NY, my great uncle told me how there would be lines of these at the airport Bflo-Niagara Falls Intl. on Genesee St, & Cayuga Rd. in Cheektowaga NY waiting to be ferried to the PTO, ETO, MTO & CBI theaters.
ОтветитьThe BF 109 it's the most Successfull Fighter plane in History.
Not the Spitfire or the P-51 Mustang comes close to the Efficiency and Success of the BF 109.
