This Venom figure is HUGE but is it worth $60? - Shooting and Reviewing

I would have bought this I js don’t have enough money to be spending on a 60$ venom figure when I Alr have the comic Walmart exclusive

I always hoped that the BAF gimmick would just be absent for at least a line or two, but yeah I'm glad it did because I was always the picky person, I always wanted to get the figures I like (whether some are the most sought after or in some cases pegwarmers lol), but I did not like the thought of keeping a piece or three of a figure I either wouldn't be able to complete nor want always got to me badly.

I say he's a W too, of course not that I would buy him, but I can see that his poseability, accessories and size do look fun to play with, still I am happy and will hold on to my Venom 2 figure, not perfect but glad to have one than none.

I think Hasbro have learnt that whilst doing build a figures does force people to buy unwanted figures to get the big figure- it’s too much of a gamble and extra cost which just isn’t effective. Much simpler and cheaper and less risk for them to simply release the big figure separately. 🤷

Not wanting all the figures but needing to buy them, is the dumb marketing ploy. Making you buy the whole wave including the D list characters in order to get the BaF head.

I like a big venom figure .i will buy this defenitly. But i would like a normal size venom too like the tom hardy venom 2 . I didnt buy that becouse it does not have the iconic spider symbol

I found this a very disappointing figure for the price. Hollow torso and gummy plastic. I wanted to love this figure. I love a huge figure. I was messing with the Mythic Legions Stavros figure at the same time I opened Venom. The magic of Legends is starting to fade for me. Hasbro needs to do more for the money they want.

I have beaten this game twice and its absolutely fantastic! I won't spoil anything but I absolutely love Venom in the game!

I think you're right sirdorkalot. That hascrap's changed it's weirdo, superfluous,cheapo ways with this release. A near masterpiece,if not for the $$$. But a excellent job for hascrap 😂❤

Because Hasbro is now a greedy company who no-longer cares about the average consumer. But this figure is way cooler than any Maxim Series figure I’ll give it that.

Venom makes venom look small

Is he overpriced? Technically no Diamond Select offered large figures for around $30 and they went out of business. Sadly times are tough and middle sized companies like hasbro have to either cut corners, exploit their employees or raise the price.

Yeah, Diamond Selects is out. Hopefully they come back one day. And there's way too many toxic collectors that were happy with people losing their jobs just because their toys weren't their thing. Really feel ashamed to be part of this community sometimes.

I think that 50 to 45 would be a better pricing since the quality is literally one of a $20 figure, it looks really gummy, it doesn't have to much accesories or paint on him, but at least is better than that horrible PS5 spiderman

Target Venompool was only $35. People who are saying this is worth $60 will probably say it's worth $90 or $120 as well. No objective sense of value whatsoever.

Hasbro seems to only make build-a-figure waves as Amazon exclusives at this point. I like collecting the waves and miss seeing them in stores.

Honestly, I think Hasbro put too much emphasis on making MCU toys especially exclusives. All of that sculpt work, tooling and extra money for actor's likenesses for figures that are only going to be in production 1 time. Hasbro/Disney hampered their own profits with too many toys from franchises that weren't popular like Eternals, Ant-Man and Marvels. 😵

The hollow chest is supposed to be so he’s not top heavy. But it’s really to save money on extra plastic, so they aesthetics are what gather the buyers. We are all mesmerized by Hasbro figures because we don’t have any competitors. Do you know, Marvel Select/ Diamond select had to sign a contract where they aren’t allowed to make their figures too good. As far as the articulation is concerned specifically, so Hasbro has no competition at all with Marvel characters. It’s messed up, so we have to accept whatever Hasbro gives us. I’m interested in what you feel about the Maximum Hulk. He’s not getting a good reception… it’s so disappointing… do you use a cinematic setting on your camera? Yes, Diamonds select had to shut down. For the reasons you and all of us are assuming. I couldn’t find Venompool in any store in New York by me. I was told that the figure was too disturbing to sell because “families” shop there…. Anyway… I had to buy Venompool on the secondary market. I think this Venom is a win sort of. The hollow chest lessens the fun. The Hulks in the past were solid. THATS what made them excited to handle and pose. This is another Hasbro slap in the face. My hope is that Mattel makes better DC figures and takes away a ton of the market from Hasbro. But Hasbro did just sign a contract for the marvel figure license until 2030. So there’s that…😳😳😳😳

He’s just a large Marvel Legend yes. He is nice… we will see when he’s in hand…

Is that Venom figure worth $60? Yes. Especially when you compare to figures of the 90s. I had a Werewolf Wolverine figure that was around $60 bucks and around the same size but the articulation and detail were nowhere near that good.

That's a good point. Big figures that normally could be bafs, sold as a single release for like 60 or 50 7 a good idea honestly but, people will still complain about the price. Yet a regular baf usually needs 5 or 6 figures, sometimes 7, which would be altogether more than 140 or more. Each single figure is 25 with tax . Nothing will satisfy Marvel Legends collectors .

Its a large figure but $60? I think $45 would've been a better price point

BAFs are important tho. They help get obscure characters out there
