Would a ditch witch cut through rock? You could at least install a french drain 4' down.

Hallo, hab die beiden erst vor kurzem abonniert. Kann mir jemand sagen, was der junge Mann beruflich macht? Ich bin sehr beeindruckt, wie er das alles meistert. Hat er irgendwelche Qualifikationen dafür? Vielen Dank schon mal:)

Don't forget they may have kept cattle below, people above, as a form of central heating, so having water for them could be a serious plus.

Every minute you put into this property would be worth waking up to that view. I could live there in a millisecond. I just think what you have up there is breathtaking. As I watch the video, I'm just mesmerized.

So re: the wet wall problem. Could you dig down in just the wettest area a two foot round hole, and put in a sump pump? Like, on the outside of the wall?

Have you considered horizontal drilling behind the house? Not knowing the geology etc this may not work but it may create a drainage tunnel for water to escape.

Change the angel on your roof to extend it out over the back wall use simple guttering to redirect the water

What a project - amazing work you do.
I dont think Ive seen the final water solution - did you manage to handle the water?
If not consider permaculture design, as Permaculture has a lot of functional designs for water stops and direction.

Bradey and fam, ive been watching your Italian renovation from get go, they way you attack each type of renovation and still have time to explain clearly what your doing is inspiring, much so I would love to move to Italy or somewhere to buy a property just like yours, your an extremely hard worker, I love all the different projects you can undertake, how much did the property cost ?and my other question is can you get internet there? Thanks enjoy watching- it has me interested, especially being so close to other Europian countries.

By the way between the house if you dug it you may be able to prop the gouse against the wall as a permanent fixture until you finish the job, as you dig down keep added props and attack it every 2 m, install stormwater drain that has perfrated holes put put small stones about 100-200 mm deeper than the flexible stormwater 100mm pipe then cover again in gravel 100mm-200mm, leave the long end bent up higher to undug length of house and burry previous dug trench of 2m, then move the storm water pipe back over work down and continue repeating until finishing, its not easy but it can be done as i have worked in alot tighter spaces as a plumber doing this in New Zealand. hope my 2 cents is valuable.

I am also not a specialist but grew up on a farm with similar problems. We planted trees of the big kind where we had water problems and in most cases we solved the problem. However that was longterm solution.

You drill down and inject a sealant every foot or so and you will have to do it right next to the rock below so the sealant seeps into the walls
