Does it note the type of crime? I live in one of the worst and never seen the cops except when they go to someone’s house for domestic violence…this happens a lot in this area 😮

We have an assault crime story and police let the criminals go, even with all the proof and witness. San antonio has gotten a lot worse with crime in the past few years, sadly.🙏

It's so sad. I grew up on the NE side of San Antonio. East Terrell Hills was an area of small homes with neat streets, with many enlisted military people. This was back in a time when a blue-collar worker could own a modest home and support and support a family. Driving down the old Austin Highway is depressing.

3 years ago I was a victim of a violent crime. I defended a neighbor from her husband, who was on drugs. He was slamming her head into the concrete floor and had I not stepped in he would have killed her. He tried to stab me in my face and neck, and I blocked 15 shots with my bare hands and then grabbed him and threw him over a 2nd story balcony. I went to my apartment downstairs to call the police and he broke through my window and stabbed me in my abdomen. I broke both his arms before SAPD arrived and subdued him. They scolded me for not jumping on him and choking him out.

After a week in ICU and having everything in my apartment stolen, SAPD refused to take my case or give more than an incident number claiming it was a civil dispute. I was a victim and could not even prove my victim status or file insurance claims because SAPD was so inefficient and ineffective. As someone that has spent his lifetime working with all types of agencies in private security and DHS and Homeland security and military security responses I have to admit that SAPD does not do its job on any level. Past looking for giving motor vehicle violations and turning it's back on political situations to promote a Chief that has political aspirations, SAPD does nothing to secure the general public and will preach that to anyone that will listen. It's my personal experience and SAPD and San Antonio has done nothing to help me or reach out to rectify the situation.

I've never had any issue living there for eight years guy from Chicago! Keep ur business to yourself and be mindful of ur surroundings.
