Fantastic, thanks for sharing, it really felt like we witnessed your journey, I was glued to the dot watching but this showed how tired you were and the physical and mental journey to being so tired, having listened to the podcast with Lewis Ciddor too it's 'nice' to know that the top ultra riders suffer like we mortals do in races. Great work by Ryan to edit up your footage too. Thanks again, one question what light do you use on your helmet, is it wired or rechargable?
ОтветитьCongratulations. It was great watching the GBDuro website map, but i was hoping we'd get some videos of your ride. Really impressive and an inspiration!!
ОтветитьAwesome, thanks for sharing. I never comment on you tube videos but I felt compelled to do so. Well done 👍
ОтветитьGreat effort Josh, thanks for documenting for those who cannot be there! Chapeau!
ОтветитьWell done mate. Great video!
ОтветитьBrilliant inspirational unassuming ride congratulations Josh....Epic.
Ответитьso rad, gonna go ride my bike!
ОтветитьYou inspire me Josh. You have an ability to keep chipper at the lowest points which is second to none!
ОтветитьAmazing feat. Been waiting for the vid!!
ОтветитьCongrats mate . Amazing achievement. Mental strength is key and you deffo exercised yours on this one . 👍💪🏻
ОтветитьThis one definitely took ultra to a whole other level
ОтветитьCongrats! And that was a fantastic vid, thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьInspiring stuff.
ОтветитьWell done very impressed 👍
Ответитьincredible josh..well done , beating them demons !!
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьGreat, very inspiring, thank you very much for sharing. I noticed the "dhb" on the waterproof jacket, what waterproof pants do you use?
ОтветитьThat was an awesome video! How did you ever manage to make time for filming while racing? Big respect for completing and winning. Great to get a peek through the window of these types of races. Also nice view of the Quantocks and Exmoor, my local riding area. You’re an inspiration.
Ответитьchurchill once said golf is a good walk ruined, and having seen this i think long distance racing looks like a nice tour done in a miserable fashion, like skim reading a great novel. Horses for courses. Well done.
Ответитьso inspiring !!!! congratz !!!
ОтветитьSuch an inspirational film. That was awesome. 👍
Ответитьdid the badger divide a few weeks ago and can't fathom the depths all the competitors had to dig to complete the gbduro nevermind win .well done Josh
ОтветитьWhat a brilliant and well-edited film! Well done Josh! Amazing effort in the race!
ОтветитьChapeau! Inspiring stuff Josh
ОтветитьCongrats Josh. A serious achievement.
ОтветитьChapeau. That looks so difficult on that terrain in that weather and with so many midges too.
ОтветитьCongratulations, Really good video of your race, inspirational as always. It just looks mental. Those midges are character building!
ОтветитьYou're a legend, this is really inspiring. Congrats!
ОтветитьThat moment in your mind where you are second guessing the little voice in your head and trying to muster everything to continue on and push through, those are the moments that define us. You captured that moment brilliantly in this short. Well done on the "race", but more importantly, well done on not listing to that nagging little voice in the back of your mind begging for you to throw in the towel. Chapeau!
ОтветитьWell done Josh!!!!
ОтветитьLoved tracking your ride last month Josh. I've sheltered under that bridge in grim conditions but only on a mere hard day road ride before tackling the climb. That section of the film did very successfully capture the low points of such endeavours but it's clear that the high points outweigh them
ОтветитьI'd love the one person who put a 'thumbs down' to step up and explain why...
ОтветитьBig respect, another great achievement
ОтветитьCongratulations Josh!! What a great achievement and even greater attitude. You're an inspiration for the cycling community. Chapeau!
ОтветитьInspirational ride, especially with the rules this year. I'd love to try something similar, but not sure how I'd deal with so much off-road/walking/wet-feet, no hotels, and likely the fairly extended time I'd have to put up with those conditions... probably have to carry twice the provisions! Just amazing effort! Huge kudos!
ОтветитьAbsolutely smashed it buddy epic ride
ОтветитьSolid work. Nice shout out to Angus as well. My take on this is that it's an amazingly difficult ride but this island of ours and those close by are amazingly beautiful and need exploring... Great stuff Josh!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing - your face says it all Josh, what a tough event, you gave it your all - inspirational
ОтветитьThis deserves so much more views than what it has. Thanks so much, amazing
Ответитьwhat a sufferfest !
ОтветитьThanks for the great footage and edit. Massive respect on winning the most epic of races. What next!??
ОтветитьInspirational stuff Mr Ibbett - you-re a legend. Hope to see more videos like this after the madness has died down...
ОтветитьThis video enshrines the good, the bad and the ugly of bike packing. So much more authentic than a thousand pretty promotional videos of product. There's nothing I can teach you about cycling, Josh, but are you sure that helmet won't come off in a crash - it looks awfuly loose?
ОтветитьNice! Would love to do this
ОтветитьGreat ride, Josh! We enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for sharing! Greetings from Greece!
ОтветитьRaw and exciting. Best edit I've seen for a while.
ОтветитьOne day I want to do half of what he just did; without going crazy halfway through.
ОтветитьIncredible achievement Josh. The beautiful destruction of mind and body through physical exertion in pursuit of the ultimate prize...nothing! GBDURO pushes Endurance athletes to the edge and you still managed to film the journey. Chapeau!
ОтветитьI LOVE IT
ОтветитьThis looks epic, horrific, joyous and utterly miserable all at the same time. 🙃
