Bob Gainey is so sharp!

Ever since I was born (1997), there wasn't a single habs player that deserves his name in the rafters more than Carey. I certainly hope he gets it. Sure, the no cup argument is valid to a certain extent. But the man had 1 teammate produce 1 point/game ever, and that was during his rookie season (Kovalev)

Just to give a perspective, Colorado had 5 PPG players on their rosters when they won the cup. 5 in 1 year. Habs had 1 in 15 years. Let that sink in.

There is a solution on how the team can attract players to Mtl despite the tax disadvantage,.. hold interviews at Chez Paree and cover the bill.

What I would do to watch Carey play hockey again

I interned for Tony 24 years ago at the Team 990 and he's been this great ever since.

I didn't think I would, but I teared up by the end of that interview with Carey. What a wonderful answer to his final question! It was an honour for the fans as well.

I love how Bob Gainey does not give a fuck anymore. Admitting to Pouliot and looking chill and proud of his career. As he should.

To have him in net now as the whole new team is coming together. If only we could have our generational talent, Carey, back. He chose to stay with a losing team, carry them, instead of wanting to trade to another team and a better chance at a cup 😢 We miss you soooo much !!!
