Our house is wooden, floating ontop a rock walled basement, with logs and house jacks supports. In our area, anything concrete will crack, wood ‘breathes’ and remains flexible for the extreme weather that is here in Pennsylvania, USA. It’s interesting watching the rebuild an existing concrete and brick building!

I am amazed how well they all work together. The elderly man wow on the roof my heart stopped a couple of times. He reminds me of my uncle same age and helping to put the roof together. It just shows that age has nothing to do with what you can do. Well done it is
nice to see a house being put together with only hand tools like everyone is saying I don't think anyone today would be able to build a house let alone renovations on a house.
