UK trying to do a deal with the EU to be in time for Oct 31 2019.
Ответить"Offer me 14."
"I'll give you 14."
"He's offering me 14 for this!"
and to think Catholics were offended when this came out
ОтветитьIf that ain't brilliant nothing is
ОтветитьAs tall as Graham is, Burt has to be 10 feet tall.
ОтветитьHow much? What? It's for the wife 🤣
ОтветитьI'm a car salesman. This is beautiful.
ОтветитьTen!? Are you trying to insult me!? Me with a poor dying grandmother?
Ответить2020
Ответитьprobably the worst sketch from the movie
Ответить"It's for the wife"
Ответитьwatching this because of Di
Ответить"He's offering me 14 for this?!"
ОтветитьGraham Chapman was the best actor out of all the Pythons in my opinion.
ОтветитьEveryone in this movie is a slave to routine. In the beginning, that includes Brian. But this shopkeeper who's addicted to haggling was one of the people who made Brian realize how much better life would be if only people would work it out for themselves. He's probably wishing he figured that out before he got a bounty on his head.
ОтветитьNot going to haggle, this is right there with the Argument Clinic as my favorite Monty Python vignette.
Ответить"No,no. You go to 14 now"
"I'll give you 14"
"14. Are you joking?"
Eric Idle's character is actually super nice. He's teaching his customer how to save money at his own expense XD
ОтветитьHe's been taken up, no there he is.
ОтветитьI just told my ex to start haggling with me! Lol
“ 10 for that you must be mad!” Priceless!!
still exist in the Israeli markets and with the same currency...how lovley
ОтветитьYeah…automate that process. A.I. can’t make an algorithm for that.
ОтветитьThe most irritating scene in the movie.
Ответитьso, who's going to hell/endure??
ОтветитьIf you want to learn about money and business this is all you have to watch.
ОтветитьOh well! One born every minute!!
ОтветитьThat's none of yer goat.
ОтветитьI was just wondering who played the big guy- Burt. Apparently the part of "Burt" was played by John Case. (That's Case, NOT John Cleese, as many people seem to assume, just because Cleese was the tallest Python member. It is definitely not John Cleese- doesn't look anything like him, and Cleese is not THAT tall). Case also played Pilate's wife in a scene that was ultimately deleted. This film is John Case's only credited acting role on IMDB, where is listed as Pilate's wife (even though the scene was deleted) but not credited as Burt, even though he has a speaking line in a scene that stayed in the film. Go figure. He also has one film writing credit for a different film, and that's it. I haven't been able to find anything else about him.
If anybody else has more info, I'd love to learn more about the mystery of John Case.
Tv comedy has died long time ago
ОтветитьWho plays Burt?
ОтветитьBurt? This bloke won't haggle.
ОтветитьBest film ever
ОтветитьAbsolutely fucking LOL.🤣👍😂 Doesn't beat the 🤥 sketch though!!
ОтветитьTo me the funniest part by far is when he starts trying to haggle with the Gord he gave away FOR FREE!
Ответитьcan't wait for the life of mohammad (police be upon him).
ОтветитьThis Monty Python brilliance 😂
ОтветитьI love how the religious people wanted the film to be banned. Couldn't stand a good joke. Imagine they would make fun of Mohammed.
ОтветитьFor it is written in the book of Cyril
ОтветитьThe Absolute Brilliance of this Film is unmatched..
This is there greatest
😆😆😆🤣‼️
ОтветитьTrue story, they considered haggling part of establishing a relationship to get to know each other and do business in the future and it would be considered insulting to refuse to haggle and just pay the initial asking price. Still like that in many parts of the Middle East to this day.
Ответить“No, no, no. Come on. Haggle properly.”
ОтветитьQuite possibly the funniest and greatest movie of all time.
ОтветитьI still say "Ten for that? You must be mad!" <3
ОтветитьI'm in Thailand right now and I feel Brian's pain. 😄
Ответить😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьOnly the English have unbeatable humor .....
ОтветитьPure class 👍🏼
