Dear SCOTUS , It's not too late to rescind the immunity you gave the criminal conman.

The SCOTUS is supposed to have the smartest people in legal affairs. This wasn't the case since 2017. There has been so much corruption from within (immoral and un-American things) that at least 3 of them are now, corrupt to the core. T.M.S.C.I.H.

Chief Justice John Roberts and his other conservative justices have NO ONE to blame except themselves. They gave Felon Trump “limited immunity” for all acts as a president. ‘All Acts’ because he and his lawyers can bog the courts down with challenges to any indictments, just as he did before.

Lawyer friend wonders if the Supreme Court is waiting for another case that let them say the immunity decision earlier was LIMITED to x, y and z.

Well maybe you should have kept him off the CO ballot because the constitution explicitly states he can't hold office, John. Stop with the crocodile tears. You voted for this, asshole.

I'm not a lawyer. I always thought that the rule of law is what establishes our being a Republic, a democratic republic based upon a Constitution, which is sacrosanct but eligible to be amended.

Attacking judges is actually not at all rare in today's society. Trump does it a few times a day. Something that's super common is not, by definition, rare but Roberts clearly has trouble telling what words mean so it's hardly surprising.

The rule of law should be held for the overall benefit of society. Unfortunately most people have little understanding of the processes that facilitate the rule of law.

Some our suspicios of Chief Justice Roberts and whether he is just throwing smoke. Roberts put the rule of law in danger by giving Trump immunity.

The Roberts court gave Trump immunity and created Citizens United, the ruling that handed over our government to corporations. This SCOTUS has in effect destroyed our country. How Roberts can live with himself is beyond my understanding. The right leaning judges all lied under oath during their confirmation hearings. Kavanaugh and Thomas should be in jail. How on earth did we sink so low? Justice Roberts.

I wish these pods would avoid misleading headlines. “The rule of law is in danger” hardly amounts to “torching” Trump.

Thank you for reporting an extremely important moment in Supreme Court history. However, it brings up the hypocrisy and culpability of Roberts in voting that the president essentially has the power to do whatever he wants. Very difficult for me to think well of his words now.

Roberts kept his mouth shut when Senators were calling for Justices to be impeached and expansion of the court after the reversal of Roe vs Wade. He should be consistent if he is going to open his mouth. That said I don't think it is responsible regardless of elected position.

I am not enthusiastic about Roberts: He is a major contributor to the danger that the rule of law is in, just recently he gave Trump extra power (to fire the leaders at the consumer protection bureau to quote just the most recent example). He gave Trump immunity, he is responsible for allowing Trump to drag out his prosecutions beyond the 24 election date. Saying "the rule of law is in danger" would be more welcome coming from someone with a cleaner record.

When are these judges going to stand up against the disrespect from this administration? It would not be allowed from my children.
