Really looking forward to watch8ng this unfold!
ОтветитьThis is one mercurial effort Scott. You may have already but a detailed video on how you organised all this when you get back would be awesome. A logistical challenge for sure.
ОтветитьAnd the anticipation builds
This will be epic
That you’ll do this in 8 days
It would take me 8 years
That's not Scottys Garage!! Enjoy your trip..
ОтветитьLooking forward to it Scotty, need raptor to get onboard and send you a supercharger.
Great work mate.
Those back quarter windows 🤮
ОтветитьScotty, ya Fairmont is so 80's daggy, that it's cool! Slap that barra into it, get it running and see what it can do with a barra upgrade!
ОтветитьGooooo scotty you got this! Maybe you could throw some vvg shine juice on the fairmont that would be cool if you get any spare time, goodluck with it all
ОтветитьThe next big thing, hot rod Faairmonts and Scotty is ahead of the curve.
Ответитьnice looking workshop there, complete with machining and refreshment area.
ОтветитьDarren and Brian are top blokes! Don’t burn yourself out Scotty, it’s a bloody awesome project, with awesome people. All the best that the f up gods stay away!!
ОтветитьLet’s go Scotty !!! 😜👍🇦🇺
ОтветитьYou get your work cut out for you Scotty good luck hope all goes to plan 👍
ОтветитьExcellent stuff Scotty
ОтветитьCool as mad shop to be working in!!
ОтветитьI think your contained optimism is on point Scotty. Enjoy it!
ОтветитьScotty any chance you could get some draggy numbers for before and after?
Ответить👍👍👍
Ответитьawesome project Scotty. Thanks to our US friends helping make it happen - but 8 days 😬😬
ОтветитьTrue car guy, shows mostly around the parts, not the car 🤣
ОтветитьScotty this thing is the biggest pimp mobile
ОтветитьWell done to everyone who’s backing you on this
ОтветитьThis will be a sick series.
ОтветитьDarren, I want your workshop! That's my ideal workshop! This is going to be a cool project for sick week Scotty. I can't wait to see the work going into it!
Update on my Holden VE Sportwagon, did all the oil & fluids, I also tightened up a few things and It's now running. I've got to do the test drive which I'm about to do.
Can't wait to see more of Scotty in the USA!
Car looks good hopefully you can get it all sorted also your nowhere near LA but it ain't looking real flash right now so stay safe and I hope a second civil war doesn't start on you
ОтветитьAll the best Scotty, have fun
ОтветитьWhat a great looking workshop!! I genuinely hope it all comes together well for you Scotty!! Keep up the great work you do mate!
ОтветитьGo Guys....
ОтветитьTruly a hideous looking car. But no less fun to play with, looking forward to your voyage of discovery!
Ответитьits finally having the motor it should of had
ОтветитьSleep tight, time to start dreaming 💪😎⛽
ОтветитьI'm so keen for this Scotty!!! We have an fg G6e turbo that's been our family car since 2016 which shortly will be retired and I want to do a ground up build including paint with my two young fellas in the hopes that we'll be able to tackle drage challenge here in aussie with it. Seeing you do this motivates me to get it done!!!
ОтветитьOnya Scotty, hook into it! Big Cheers to your friends over there for helping out! Awesome!
ОтветитьI reckon a pristine 1 would only bring $4 per ton....Go hard and ruin it...(not)...😅😂😂
Ответитьfood and sleep is the next step to be able to tear the car apart. the fairmont looks like it has saggy arse syndrome if time allows maybe a set of firm shocks for the back, yes its not concourse but it is a different body shape we dont see here. i had a laugh at the size of the car and only 4 stud wheels on it. Looks like you will have fun and good company in that workshop, maybe you might teach them some aussie workshop words while tinkering with the mini land yacht
ОтветитьBarramont nice!
ОтветитьIt'd make a cool ute with a bit of cutting and welding. Get rid of that weird quarter window.
ОтветитьGo you Good Thing!
ОтветитьLove what you're doing, living my dream.
Bronzed Aussie though? There's an na BBC salt flat commodore that would like a word
Nice work
ОтветитьNice work, mate all in all great car but old car things 😂❤
Ответить4 stud pattern and a Barra swap. I wonder what might break first?
Ответитьan angle grinder, some beers and it would make a great ute?🤣
ОтветитьLike it think lose the back mini ute' be great for drag challenge. Thanks be great get good barra in it. Cheers
ОтветитьThanks darrin'
ОтветитьMint stuff Scotty and boiz👍🏻👌🏻
ОтветитьI’d love to see a workshop tour video if you get the chance 👍
ОтветитьHey Scotty, not sure if this is covered in later instalments, but by putting in a Barra with considerably more horsepower, shouldn't you update to 5 stud pattern wheel. Don't know why American sixes mostly have a 4 stud wheel, even old XLs here have 5. Excellent series, looking forward to catching up to the current installment - I'll binge it this weekend.
