Other companies should be scared of Montech!

I am just looking for a case to fit a new 9070XT that I will try to buy in a couple of hours and I stumbled upon this case on a retailer website. And oh boy is this perfect, I want something to fit my current ventilator set up so that I dont have to throw out my vents or have to buy more and also something to fit a huge GPU. For 69€ this thing leaves most cases in the dust. Huge thumbs up for Montech and thanks for the review 👍

It's also nice that the Montech Air 903 Max (also in black) accommodates up to an E-ATX form factor motherboard. However, some of the wires and cables don't seem to be able to fit through the rubber cable management cutouts while using an E-ATX motherboard, but it can be solved with alternate cable routing and should still fit through the top or bottom openings of the chassis (which is the case in my experience). I still recommend this chassis, especially for a first build/budget build (despite the E-ATX motherboards covering the rubber cutouts). The ATX form factor motherboards will allow for cleaner cable management overall.

Really Happy with the purchase. I had CPU heating issues on my 5700x3d on my old case, I bought this case and it solved all my issues. Averages dropped from 70-80% to 40-50% while watching this video. Also got a Deepkool AG620 as it was pretty cheap along with this which also helped a lot even though it was probably not needed

Just bought the Air 903 base/black. I like ARGB but the wife said she does not want blinky, flashy lights in the room.

Does anyone know if it is compatible with TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS and ARCTIC LIQUID FREEZER III BLACK 240mm, the case I have now does not fit the AIO because it hits the heatsink from the motherboard

I just dont understand how PC cases has been basicly the same in like 20 years, and for a period of time most had completely covered the front for like no reason.
Varied GPU length max for again no reason, weird only having 120mm fans i mean, what are they doing.
This looks terrific, dust filters etc it looks just what you need no matter what the hell youre building, who doesnt like extra case cooling options and room for atleast 3x120mm in both front and top.
What i dont understand is why they still dont build the tower a like 5cm higher and about the same in width to ensure cables are not bend to shit from GPU, and that the motherboard isnt slammed against the top that crams the fans especialy with air cooled CPU.
Job done, but even here, they barely get it. Come on we have the technology

No jay. buttons are on the right side! That's how I would prefer them. Example you have external shit to connect to you don't want them to disturb the view of the glass. Also it's not that far of a reach, common. I would be more nitpicking if they added the buttons and USB's on a same side as see through.

The extra button is nice for if your power button starts acting up. It's like a spare in case replacement parts aren't immediately available.

Why arnt there more full tower cases to choose from though

i just got the montech air max in black. i really like this case. i have a b650-e tuf gaming and a 7800x3d and a 7900xtx and a be queit black rock 5 cooler.. it fits everything with no problem.. it is a completely blacked out case.. it is awesome! i would really say i am loving it alot. it has a rgb and fan hub. iam loving it.

i have a Montech X3 Mesh, 6 Fans - 3x 140mm & 3x 120mm, RGB(connectors are molex), Tempered Glass Side Panel on a hinge. $60

Not sure if fan speed can be controlled in either or both models.

Underrated line. I love this case. 140mm fans means a quiet case. That alone sold me. Especially with being able to put 3 up front.

Dead on with the placements of the buttons, what were they thinking, I would have happily payed an extra 5-10 bucks to have the buttons over on the left, nice case for the money though.

I'm torn between this case vs Lancool 215 vs Corsair 4000D.

Montech has become my go to case for customer builds unless they are after something specific. You cannot beat their price to value added, that and the fact that are cheap to buy but next level in quality to similar price points. The fans unlike Apevia cases actually perform well and have better "Heft" to them meaning they even feel higher quality. I've done 8 builds in Montech cases including the Sky series and have not a single complaint. I bought 2 Apevia cases and both arrived dented and 1 had to be pounded out just to get the PSU to screw in and sit properly, my money goes to Montech now when it comes to customers on tight budgets and want a good quality performer for a case, though I have built 3 3K machines and those customers asked for the Montech case. Can't wait to see what they come up with next. Great review Jay!

I did my white build in this case and it's such a nice case to work with. Plenty of space for radiators, the airflow is perfect, can easy fit a huge gpu and pretty damn good build quality. For the price of this case you really can't go wrong.

I knew about montech back in 2022 and honestly i hate this on video because it's progressively going to get more expensive now. Upsetting how my favorite brand is now being full with GREED :(

I actually use the max and i love it. great for the price and keeps my pc cool with the 3 140mm intake fans. i haven't changed the fan curve and i sit at around 65-70 Celsius while playing
