fuckingg oem manufacturer parts. you can get aftermarket parts for much less or go to a junkyard or find parts for it online from a junkyard pull for much less. thats what i do for my car and have saved a lot of money over buying the oem parts from the manufacturer.
ОтветитьI would drive that car
ОтветитьI'm dead you are crazy spending 2700 on that junk you just bought a depreciating car that's the worst of the xj model and not even a good model lmao anything after 2003 is garbage n it has a 100 thousand already omg you could have found an operating Vander plas for 3000 in mint condition around the same milage n for the parts buy second hand you can buy a whole car with a blown throttle for 800 😂
ОтветитьWhen we're done building our Volvo V70R, we challenge you to a drag race.
Ответитьgood buy..fixer back looking emaculate!
ОтветитьWill be a very nice when finshed. This model with proper servicing can last to about 400--500 000kms ( i know of a similar car that has high kms it runs and drives perfectly well ).
Your approach to the repairs is very sensible.
On a cheaper model i would not have too worried about the doors, the dents are not that bad.
That Jag is gorgeous
ОтветитьHow you pick it up for so low price is because that is what they bring at thr auction you got just a regular price gor the car not a super deal
ОтветитьLovely car but 100k miles!?....walk away
ОтветитьLol you mean 8k jag
ОтветитьI need to drive that Jag to my parole officer.
ОтветитьThe car would have been 70,000 if it was brand new in 2004 the value is worth a Ford escort
ОтветитьThat jag wasn't worth more then a grand lol
ОтветитьSo why is it not done yet
ОтветитьIt will be easier to "just swap the rear door instead of replacing It?"
ОтветитьIts a ford its never made a profit so many unsold
Ответить$70,000...LMAO...LOL ...I say you got burnt .....what part of the world do you live in......lol
ОтветитьThat car is only worth 2,400
ОтветитьI got my 03 xj8 for 100 more
ОтветитьIt looks interesting with no grille.
ОтветитьSo you bought a $70,000 car for only $2,400 and the catch is that it's not a $70,000 car anymore.....?? Please explain to me how that makes any sense.
ОтветитьVery intresting
ОтветитьDidn't Chrisfix got one for $1800?
Ответитьhmm more money in parting it out tho. Unfortunately, that's just about always the case, parts bring more IF you can sell the parts.
ОтветитьBuy from junkyards
ОтветитьWorthless in Britain
Ответитьpsh I found many fenders online for that Jaguar for around $200 used but in mint condition those insurance companies are ripping you off BIG TIME it did not cost them shit when the factories made it.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьYour channel is amazing and it deserves more subscribers! I just subscribed & show my support. I have owned 4 XJRs and I hope that you will support my channel too. 😀👍😀
ОтветитьI had a grill 4 it i sold it 4 $50 dollar's 4. you should have put some round LED light's 2 try and save some money bet it would look cool.
ОтветитьIt's beautiful. Enjoy!
ОтветитьNo matter what you do, it will have a salvage/rebuilt title. The salvage title keeps you from purchasing full coverage insurance. the salvage title reduces the value by 1/2 to 2/3. Run the numbers and see you would not buy it for resale.
ОтветитьIsn't it amazing how the morons come out en masse when smart people make crafty and shrewd moves to better themselves? They wouldn't ever.take a chance as you guys did, on that amazingly beautiful and.luxurious Vanden Plas. These cars are well made, have an incredible ride and provide the owner with an instantaneous status symbol. And all of this "stupidity" for buying a car with 100,000 miles only costs 5% of the original sticker price. A car mind you, that hasn't even seen half its days, if kept maintained like you would any other car you would own. LMAO, what stupidity!!!
ОтветитьJust bought a 08 xj8 needs a shock absorber but I can put that on myself the mechanic shop wanted to charge me $2500 to repair the rear shocks 🥴 no thanks!
ОтветитьYou can probably buy a fender and lights for $350-550 on eBay
ОтветитьI just love everything about this vehicle. It’s gorgeous.
