The price fam. There’s your answer
Ответитьits a subaru ur sposed to launch it at the hill at 100mph and jump the crest while your co-driver struggles to read their notes
ОтветитьEven Canadians are doing the glottal stop now. Sad face.
ОтветитьFor those that can afford it it’s dope af
ОтветитьWith all the negativity that Toyota puts out regarding EV vehicles not being the future of transportation, why would anybody buy an EV from them or in this case Subaru?
ОтветитьBest video I have seen on the Solterra ,Extremelly detailed
Ответить“Super rugged” and “Plastic” do not go together. : )
I love the poetic accuracy of “Hairy Cardboard”
It sounds like it's snorting when it breaks traction on the hills. Unhappy Subaru 😢
ОтветитьLet’s be real for a second. Subaru is going through an identity crisis.
ОтветитьIt’s a $25k car tops
ОтветитьInteresting how you pronounce aluminum, “alu-mini-um.”
ОтветитьHigh Dollar electroJunk....no thanks
ОтветитьI leased one a month ago and was very disappointed. the charging time from 5% to 100% was 2 DAYS and 4 HOURS. That is why if you are using your car 20 to 30 miles a day, this would be apt for you but farther than that, this car is not advisable. The rear window has no wiper and the visibility when raining is so poor and dangerous. The rear heater is so slow. I wouldn't want to use this during winter time. Not advisable to own or leased.
ОтветитьThe big issue with this car is the abysmal charging performance on DC fast charge, really making this car for any sort of road trip unusable.
ОтветитьYuk
ОтветитьThats fine. Subaru drivers are the worst.
Ответитьlively yet succinct review with information takeaways. Great job - and I agree with your assessments. this hybrid mishmash does not make it a Subaru.
ОтветитьWell, I must say that this is the least ugly Suburu I've ever seen. But who taught you to say aluminium?😮
ОтветитьSadly, Toyota (Subaru) can't make EVs yet. That efficiency is horrible. 2.8 miles/kWh highway is horrible. The current base model Tesla Model 3 will go 4.5 miles/kWh on the highway (tested) and do 0-60 in under 5 seconds and is $5000.00 cheaper. I love the Toyota and Subaru brands, but wish they'd hurry up and make a ground-up EV that competes. They're late to the game and suffering because of it. There are reasons they can't sell any of these or the BZ4x. Slow, inefficient, harsh ride, too expensive. Fingers are crossed for a better showing in the coming years
ОтветитьThis car is truly ugly.
ОтветитьMY 2024 Soltera just purchased amazed at vehicle... Tested all models off EV, this gets so far 99% as cost of maintenance was explained, purchased but not convinced, many things will need to be changed.
First range got 275 and 75% EV used further than the Bolt, way larger than the Bolt, 5 adults easily....
The moment you said "alumini-um" my Canadian detector went off 😂
ОтветитьIt’s not the car is the driver ,and you don’t have the power of a gas engine,
ОтветитьShteel
ОтветитьOK I found out your "Secret" didn't exactly know how to deal with it for a day or so but then I saw this video and thought it won't hurt to watch it. Turns out I was right your clips are as enjoyable as always Thanks for doing what you do now all you have to do is talk Subaru into making the STI version
ОтветитьGreat review. This thing is still really bad looking but I have to say the interior is pretty great.
ОтветитьThat hill test was sad. Tires make a difference. But the front wheels don’t look like they were trying. So it’s a Subaru with high clearance but can’t do off road that well. Sad. And we know it’s the car cause you’re great driver.
Ответитьlmao that model is 100% for beta yuppies in california who don't go offroading but want to say they own a subaru and are being "energy efficient," Screw that... you need an Outback LOL.
ОтветитьSorry, but that Justy had nothing to do with Suzuki.
ОтветитьI wonder why they put a 12 V battery in an electric car? Why not use the main cells or a 48 V battery?
ОтветитьExcellent review as always. I think there is zero reason to buy this Subaru. I doubt this is any better than an AWD Model Y, but it's not really cheaper, and it has worst range.
ОтветитьMaybe they should add an electric winch on the front to pull it up a hill?
Ответитьthis a fantastic car.
ОтветитьIs that an SUV, or a racoon?
ОтветитьAluminum, not aluminium.
ОтветитьThe slow smoke roasting in this video beats my Traeger
ОтветитьI've had Subarus for nearly 40 years now. For an AWD, I don't believe that for the price you can get better quality. I am not emotionally attached to the boxer engine. Yet again, the Solterra is the best choice for an AWD EV. I'm getting mine next Tuesday. Can't wait.
ОтветитьThey should have designed their own ev
ОтветитьLooks like a Ford
ОтветитьI wouldn't pay more than $20k. Other EVs can do more and better than that pos.
ОтветитьToyobaru, best comment ever.
ОтветитьJust substitute the letters "EV" with "BS' !!!
ОтветитьIt is VERY different from a combustion engine vehicle and you can not compare them, its like apples and bananas....only thing I really dislike about my Solterra is the zap on the battery the FAN for AC & cabin Heat brings...incredible zap!
Ответитьi like this car, just saw one at the store and had to see a review, your review is nice, thank you, the motor at each wheel is exactly correct, and not having smart AWD control is exactly correct
ОтветитьThis is designed for people who can’t tell the difference between a Prius and an Insight, but want you believe they can.
Subaru/Toyota needs to sell a lot of these to be able to build the Supra, LC500, WRX STI, Trail Hunters etc.
Great review! I suspect I know why I still have yet to see one of these. Love your channel
ОтветитьI don't even absorb most of the technical stuff because I'm entranced by your stunning eyes!! 🌹😍🤩 I do enjoy your in depth reviews very much though!! ✅💯👍🏻⭐
ОтветитьBeans 4 you are being kind
ОтветитьSomewhere out there is a hairy cardboard engineer screaming "IT'S NOT HAIRY CARDBOARD!!!"
Ответить
