I used to live by the Lea Valley park and kingfishers were reasonably common there. Not that I ever got a decent photo, I wasn't quick enough with my old manual 300 2.8!

Russ do you not run with 2 autofocus buttons l have one for stationary @ 1/320 then one for birds in flight @ 1/3200. You could not have got a better perch if you tried lovely.
