Remember they still have designs for org hangars that can have some functionality too. This is just the beginning.
ОтветитьI am still amazed how everybody seems to be able to do anything in 3.24 PTU... I have tried so many times over the last weekend and one of 3 things has ALWAYS happened: 1) I cannot log in - it never loads - 2) I cannot use the transit system at the landing location at it is stuck 3) the hangar doors won't open - even when trying all possible communication possibilities (shortcut, MFD, mobyglass app) .... I am also unable to use the vehicle loadout manager - everything shows up empty. ... and I even tried re-copying my character ... 🥺
ОтветитьI still want a Power Loader like from Aliens.
ОтветитьWould be cool to have shared hangars for orgs. Should be pretty easy to create new instances not tied to a character, and a tiny UI to give permissions. Could be rented for huge amounts so orgs can sink some money into it.
ОтветитьWe all have an enormous amount to learn for 3.23.4 live. CIG really needs to fix a lot of bugs to make it playable. For example, I flew my 325A to an off planet hanger. I learned early to retrieve the smallest QT drive ship I have, get out of the home hanger, and fly to a space station to set my spawn there. I then flew to HUR L5 to buy an Atlas QT drive for it, not knowing that I had install it myself. So, I had to track down a multi tool and tractor attachment. When I got back to the hanger, I retrieved the 325A again to bring the Atlas up in an elevator to install it. Bang, 30K. Now my ship is destroyed, and I can’t claim it in my hanger or any where else. I had to deliver my old Aurora to continue to Lorville to buy a Mole. I’m not a Noob to PTUs having tested Wave 1 in every PTU since 3.13, so I know what to expect, but I sure wish I knew Thai we have to install every upgrade physically! By the way, so far, this has been the least buggy and irritating PTUs since 3.13. Kudos to the Evocati on their hard work to get it into this condition!
ОтветитьIf they just got rid of the "decorations" and let us decorate it ourselves that would be so much better.
Ответитьnice video, lots of good ideas.
ОтветитьI wonder if you could steal a smaller ship, then take it to your personal hangar and keep it without storing it. Would bring incentive to repairing dead ships when that tech comes around
ОтветитьLorville's hangars look the best visually but for some strange reason, CIG thought it would be a good idea to occupy every ounce of floor space left not taken up by the ship elevator with random items.
ОтветитьRunning bunkers and getting the gear is going to be nicer. Instead of pulling everything off the bodies and putting them into a cargo box, just put all the bodies in your ship, take them to your hangar, loot them there, then make a pile of bodies off in a corner!
ОтветитьMy best time on this game was uninstalling
ОтветитьThere is a great opportunity to sell stand alone features for your hangar. Loot out bed, med beds, lockable gun racks, useable closets, pushable hover carts, rolling ladders, repair drones that repair your ship, etc. The possibilities are endless.
However, the bugs and stability really need to be addressed.
Have the addressed the different types of cargo missions weather it’s a search and buy or sight to sight transport and also if they have balanced the mission payouts for cargo as well as other missions. The payouts just seem too low in my opinion.
ОтветитьBut have they manifested a game yet? Or are we still in tech-demo territory?
ОтветитьDo you actually think that being able to "cheese" every ship into now being a drop/personal carry ship, totally at odds with every idea about ship roles I have heard about, is a good thing?
ОтветитьGlad to see you're still uploading Mac! Love coming to your videos to see what's up with Star Citizen
ОтветитьLooks great, thanks for sharing. Is it will be possible to tow a derelict ship into your personal hangar? You could strip it at your leisure then!
ОтветитьI havn't heard anything about the following, so maybe someone here knows. I know there a keybind options for locking your ship doors.
If you don't lock your doors, but do close a door or ramp if you exit the ship, will someone else (outside of your party) be able to open your ship?
They need to make those mobile ladders USEABLE, so people with bigger ships can get up on top of them and do repairs and whatever.
ОтветитьThe worst feature to date = Master Modes.
ОтветитьTo fix that odd effect around your ship. Check if you have FSR or DLSS on or off. If it is off turn on DLSS and see if it goes away. Or turn it off and see if it goes away.
Ответитьunfun
unbearable
unplaybable
I totally agree about the unusable fluff props being removed. Either remove them or pay me rent. I can make a mess of my virtual home all on my lonesome and don't need the dev's help.
ОтветитьWhat made them screw the interface for inventory management even harder. It already sucked but the kiosks just made the game go past the horizon of fun play. It’s not fun it’s actual work. Good Job CR!
ОтветитьCan't wait for all kinds of cargo handling dollys, carts, and trucks to move cargo around your hangar and then load them into the ship. On a similar note, I hope there are maintenance ground equipment, weapons stands and tools
ОтветитьI agree with your suggestion to remove all nonfunctional props that are taking up space in the personal hangars.
Ответитьis there a list of ships that give you aeroview? pretty sure id have it but it would be nice to know what ships give what hangar
ОтветитьSquadron 42 (2024) Update
Synopsis
Take the role of a rookie UEE Navy combat pilot in a cinematic single-player adventure set in the Star Citizen universe.
I hope to see some hangar modules down the line. Including a hab that we could log in and out of. Always enjoy your point of view on things super mac! Keep em coming
ОтветитьI think this kind of personalised persistence will go SO far for this game, I think it's crucial.
As a mostly separate comment, there's a huge amount of gameplay right now, the issue is that it's all totally disjointed, you just go do a "bunker" or a "search" and that's it, you know exactly what to expect and how long it'll take and the various elements of gameplay aren't overlapping.
The most fun I ever had in this game was buying my entire savings worth of medical SCU, not realising I couldn't just sell it all at one location and then spending 4 sessions over 4 weeks selling it all, being attacked and docking all around the verse doing odd jobs, watching my cargo space slowly free up over each week with the risk of losing everything I had ever made.
The reason this surprised me is that I don't have interest in cargo gameplay, the long term nature of that accidental campaign of mine is what made it SO enjoyable and satisfying, I really needed to keep my ship alive too to, so actual big consequence was there.
And then I made nearly nothing when I finished, yet still it was the best experience of the game I've had. (been here since before Port Olisar)
We need that kind of long term, joined gameplay with long term carryover rather than just the isolated 1 session missions which are so predictable.
I think this is a big step towards that kind of long term growth and persistence however, being able to store all that SCU for a later session and seeing your hanger grow with gear and items. A progression. Now just to make gear expensive and rare...
No One is playing the game atm - the numbers are well down! Another pointless feature introduced to Star Citizen. I wish they concentrate on actual gameplay by giving us a basic economy, not the finished article (that will take time). Give us a reason to play the game with some simple economics rather than prioritizing technical features that give us no incentive to play the game. Make gold a thing again at moon stops, increase the price of drugs by at least 100%. Re-introduce weavil eggs on the salvage missions. Make player bounties worth doing increase the value by 100%. At the moment it is sooo stale, it oddly gets interesting when they break the economy accidently (duplication bug RMC, weavil eggs spawning too often etc). Please CIG give us a reason to play the game, spend a little time doing this rather than concentrating on technical aspects such as the personal hangers (which appears to be another time wasting mechanic!) - please get the priority right or our game will die.
ОтветитьOnce we have more furniture and home appliances we can set up the cargo area as if it was the interior of an RV and finally really never ever need to go to stations :) Sounds and looks awesome! Can't wait for the PU version
ОтветитьI must admit i don't tend to collect much in the form of flair/items, yet with such things scattered around your hanger, can someone who sneaks in for 30s, can they steal?. And could i leave an STV parked in an alcove?
Ответитьwish you could use the medic lab in the hangers
ОтветитьWow it looks so natural. Amazing game
ОтветитьYou need a Fury Spacecraft manual next to your maintenance area :D
ОтветитьWish hangars had a hab in one of those alcoves so you could wake up in them. Then they could be off server in a seperate hangar only shard and only spawn all that decoration entities/vehicles when a player requests to leave their hangar into live.
ОтветитьP E R S E U S W H E N
ОтветитьCan’t wait, I’ve been making boxes of gear, food and drink for a while, having them in display will be helpful.👍🏼
Ответитьthe bed storage on ships was universal to all even in 3.23, however the ship storage if you pressed I just being on the ship grid... that was personalised... however must say the potential for huge steps that 3.24 brings is astronomical
Ответить1. I'd like to be able to buy empty containers directly from the cargo elevator. 2. I'd like to be able to bed log directly from the hangar, instead of doing the 5 minute loop of having to take the tram every time- if I need supplies I have to make a trip into town, but starting there every time is annoying.
Ответить3.24 should not come out till the bugs on the live servers are fixed they are putting all their time and effort into more game play and there are countless bugs and glitches in the game. Everyone needs to press CGI to fix these bugs before they keep loading on more bugs with content updates
ОтветитьDo they say which hangers are at each of the locations? While I do like NB, I prefer the R&Y hanger style.
ОтветитьSpecialized various size components and weapons shelves would be great.
ОтветитьSo what about combing cargo. Say you go get 32 scu of RMC and want to combine into 1 32 scu crate so you can load 1 crate instead of 32 crates
ОтветитьSpoilers, I'll watch it later, once I tested 3.24 meself, I have to experience it first hand, sorry ryan, promise i come back lol
ОтветитьTL;DW : He doesnt actually tries to spawn a ship like in the thumbnail
ОтветитьLooks cool. Will there actually be reasons to spend much time in your personal hangar? Especially when CIG starts expanding beyond Stanton?
ОтветитьBeen taking these videos with a grain of salt since you have more videos than content in the actual game
Ответить
