I concur on the habits of the younger generation. The number of times a kid has been like "my parents will sue you/get you fired" when they fail a test in my classroom or face any kind of consequences is WILD. My response is always "good luck with that, kid". I'd say about half the time it's a learned behavior from Karen parents and half the time it's learned from shitty media.

I want to bring up a topic I've never seen discussed anywhere.
It makes no sense to me that offenders are released from custody without making them register for the sex offender registry before they are permitted to walk out of a facility.
This would not be difficult to do. Huge numbers of these offenders never register, so they're going to have to do something to improve the system.
