ОтветитьThe Knights of Columbus recently started a new Assembly in Queens County, NYC. The Assemblies and the 4th Degree are the patriotic arm of our Order and we chose the name Gunnery Sgt. John Basilone, as he best exemplifies the Catholic contribution to our nation's freedoms as well as anyone we know. The Knights of Columbus of Queens County is proud to serve under the name of Gunnery Sgt. John Basilone. May this ship and her crew sail safely and proudly under the name of a true American hero.🇺🇸
ОтветитьMy son’s ship! He’s the grandson of a Marine, who I know is looking down today with pride. GO NAVY!

ОтветитьJOHN BASLONE IS JOHN BUSY ALONE IN 1962 , ISNT THAT TRUE? , JOHN KENNEDY ?. AFTER 11 MONTHS IN 1963 HE WAS ASSASINATED BY AN ALLEGED INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF TERMINATION WHOM SOME OF ITS MEMBERS WERE ALGERIANS ., TUNISIANS ,MOROCANS AND EVEN AMERICANS AND FRENCH . ONE OF THE MOTIVES BEHIND HIS ASSASINATION WAS HIS SUPPORT FOR THE ALGERIAN INDEPENDENCE WITHOUT PRESERVING THE RIGHT OF THE JEWISH ALGERIAN TO REMAIN IN ALGERIA AFTER THE INDEPANDENCE 1962 , MARILINE MONROE CELEBRATING HIS BIRTHDAY 1962 WAS THE BEGINING OF NEW CHAPTER IN THE AMERICAN ALGERIAN RELATIONSHIP HISTORY , UNFORTUNATLY AFTER 15 YEARS BOUMEDIENE WAS KILLED ALMOST BY THE SAME MANNER BUT THIS TIME A NEW MARILINE WHO GAVE THE COFFEE TO THE PRESIDENT , AMINA ROUICHI

That commander is scared to death.
ОтветитьUSS Winstom Churchill always has a Royal Navy officer in its crew. Maybe as part of the ships tradition a certain number of marines are part of the crew un particular job roles.

ОтветитьGreat to see those who valiantly served honored in the naming of vessels, generation after generation, and the wonderful exclusive humanity of this whole group. ‘We the people…”, and an absolutely great singer! 45/47 can’t touch this. Love and profound respect.
ОтветитьToo this long to name another ship after this MARINE? MAYBE A AIRCRAFT CARRIER?
