I never get tired of Josh Smith: genuineness, clarity, talent and passion. Pure gold 🫶🏼
ОтветитьTruly, the man, the myth, the legend. What an absolute ultra chad.
ОтветитьYes!
ОтветитьGreat lesson !!, just a little too much reverb.
ОтветитьDo I have to use my thumb that grip is hard for me?
ОтветитьThanks so much Josh...you're teaching skills and playing are wonderful..i look forward to more shows and lessons
ОтветитьMerci❤
ОтветитьGreat explanation. Great basics. Great lesson.
ОтветитьBadass.
ОтветитьHe doesn’t play the route of the D 4 chord and then plays major scale over top despite saying it was ideal for pentatonic scale.
ОтветитьIt`s a few years i know Mr. Smith, all through
watching his heavenly solo performances in
JTC Guitar ...(into Facebook i think) but this
4-5 minutes video:
I learned a lot, simply, very useful ... A real
GEM
Many thanks to Mr. Smith
Excellent lesson, 4 minutes and 41 seconds of pure happiness ! Thank you Josh ! 🤩🤩🤩
ОтветитьM a big fan of your ❤
Ответить'Little licks in between the chords' = that's what she said...
ОтветитьJust think, in an alternate universe, there's a "Smosh Jith" from the "No Ukulele Network"
... wtf? ...idk
Josh Smith;
You the absolute greatest!!!
Damn this is good stuff
ОтветитьBest 5min I've spent on any lesson out here. This cat is something else. You can tell he's been there and done that !!
Ответить❤
ОтветитьGreat shuffle formula thx
ОтветитьNice. Any lesson on that.
ОтветитьSweet.👍
ОтветитьSuper economical playing
ОтветитьWhich amp does Josh play here?
ОтветитьNICE LESSON, SO what happens to us ,,the one without mile long fingers AND WE CAN'T GET OUR non 6 INCH LONG thumb AROUND THE NECK ? I always get a kick of how nobody,, these guitar experts mentions this , and yes JOSH IS AN EXEMPLARY PLAYER NO DOUBT ?
ОтветитьGreat lesson! Thank you.
Ответитьwow. lightbulb moment here. cant wait to practice this. excellent instruction!
ОтветитьIt would be helpful if the chord shapes were shown on screen through the progressions to make sure viewers can play what they seeing and hearing correctly.
ОтветитьWhat if you don't or can't play with thumb on the neck?
ОтветитьOnce again Josh, thanks for a very interesting lesson, that’s now in the memory bank 👍🏻👍🏻
Ответитьeasy shape if you have giant hands. i cant eve touch low e with my thumb. lol
ОтветитьCan't tell what strings his fingers are on. Great lesson, but when chords create close clusters of fingers like that, multiple views can surely help.
ОтветитьThanks Josh! Good vibes from Barcelona 🎸🎼🌟
ОтветитьOk. So my fingers are just not fast enough yet. Ive maxed out my what you called the chicago box effort. Doin exactly what you showed already. Backwards ect. I can hear notes in my head i want to play but not yet figured out quite how yet. More effort needed. Thanks for this. I can take something from tis so it does help even though i am sure it is basic for a lot of people......BUT....it was not always basic , was it?
ОтветитьNice one. ( most frustrating camera angle and no diagram) 👌
ОтветитьLove this guy
ОтветитьLove it! Thanks
ОтветитьSuper helpful video - thanks!!
ОтветитьWhat a joy. A master
ОтветитьGreat lesson on blues shuffles! Easy finger transitions in the way you play the voicings of the chords.
ОтветитьI always scratch my head when I see thumbs downs on videos like this. What about this video did someone watch and says we that sucks?
ОтветитьSome great tips here, very concise explanation, love the simple D7 and E7 shapes.
Ответитьjosh smith is one of the best modern blues guy and a classic teacher as well !
ОтветитьJosh is a super gifted guitarist & teacher. He shares all his knowledge and experience with passion & humility. He can show you in three minutes what a book takes a hundred pages to explain.
ОтветитьWhat a great lesson... straight forward, focused, yet rich with info. Yes, you have to know CAGED, and enough about scales that you understand 6ths, 7th chords (and 9th chords?). But, once you've got that a bit, seeing these embellishments and applications are super cool. And, all that, under 5 minutes!
ОтветитьPlayed at half speed.
ОтветитьDooood. Thanks for the free lessons..
ОтветитьZoom in fat fingers cant see all the notes
Ответить
