How to Draw Manga

Just a warning to some starting artists, start off with realistic style, it'll help you in the long run, especially if you want to attend art school in the future. I started off drawing manga/anime style and it obscured my sense of reality art wise quite a bit and it was hard for me to adjust when I got into art school and they wanted realistic art..

You know, I had a manga book right next to me the whole time I was watching this. When I was looking at it to see if the things were true, I got distracted and started to read it.

weebs, they've been saying "manga" right. -_- the way you're thinking it should be pronounced is wrong. its pronounced "mah-n-gah" not "main-gah". look it up.

Well, this artist is better than their "how to draw anime girls" artist... And I love the fact that Mark Crilley is in the suggestions. But did they really need to have an Asian person in the video? I mean, yeah manga originates from Japan and all. I just think it would be nice to show not all who draw manga are Asian...

This tutorial really isn't that great... He can draw legs better than me, but his faces suck. They should have mentioned inking, since that's one of the most important things in manga, and a lot of the tips in the video are really general, and not that helpful.

This does not help at all, all this video was saying what you SHOULD do as in you SHOULD draw a background, you SHOULD draw a facial expression.

TBH i kinda hate the old mangas cuz the graphic design is just... wow. I like animes more but without mangas there won't be anime.
