Wow! I've seen Mr. Alagna in other roles but in this he seems to be developing a wobble (wide vibrato) which at his 55 years of age can turn into a serious problem if not taken care of. He has a beautiful voice but hopefully he'll pay attention to this defect in his signing.

I love Alagna, but I’m puzzled by his singing here. There’s a pervasive nasality that sounds particularly out of place in this aria. Also, that mustache is the worst.
