RC is my favorite rider...and this vid show´s why...he has that extra gear built in and always has a little bit extra speed to take out of the bike and himself. JS is also very fast but RC will always be my favorite rider.

Looks to me like the G.O.A.T was moving like one. James can't stop mid air, because Ricky slowed down. Ricky is a dirty rider and always block james to slow him down...

bubba just had the better line through that corner (outer line) so carried far more corner speed and obviously cant slow down once he left the floor simple as that

yeah shit happens, it just always happens to stewart. every crash looks like an accident, yet stewart is always involved. just like the recent one with chad reed that cost them both the championship

How can you say Stewart ride dirty? Ricky and Chad is the masters of blocking and such. Stewart rides clean and make the pass because he is faster.

Its neither of their faults really. Their both hauling azz going as FAST as they and the bike their riding will physically be able to go around the track running on pure adrenaline.. so eventually stuff like this is going to happen. Go to 2:16 or so, it near about happened with RC landing on JS before the crash!

@ElMariachi958 Ricky was such a good outdoor racer, Stewart didn't have anything for him there but I have to say that when it comes to bike handling Stewart is outstanding therefore he is or was a better supercross rider.

Can we all agree that RC happen to be going much slower than James in that particular spot. It really wasn't James fault, he had been going one speed the whole time and RC just slowed way down. Unfortunate situation but no ones at fault IMO

I get what happened... Stewart wasn’t used to RC’s line, and naturally you would expect Ricky to go toward the outside off the jump, which stew would jump to the inside, but Ricky stayed inside... risky on stews end, but I get why he did it. Makes a ton of sense.

Interesting to watch this with a fresh perspective so many years later. James didn't anticipate Ricky to block the inside and he was already committed.

I honestly think that was Ricky's fault for a few different reasons. Reason #1, why pass someone going mock ten in a fast section then slow down over the jump? #2 Ricky didn't take that same line, not one the entire race, he was more outside. #3 Ricky should have expected James to take the same line James was taking the whole race.
