So does the house paint that you put down first just have the GAC 800? No pouring medium? Thanks x
ОтветитьLove the idea we can do that you have given us. Thank You
ОтветитьSo this is considered bloom technique or can you use that varnish into most paints. Pretty much is that another pouring medium for acrylic painting? Your color choice ..its do soothing . And I love your teaching . Make it real
ОтветитьVery lovely. Perfect!
ОтветитьHi... Can you share the LINK for the ART WASH?
ОтветитьThe colors from those paints are amazing! Thanks for finding them, I will have to look for them when I go to Micheal's. You did a great job working on that beautiful painting.
ОтветитьAmazing shimmer, I love it
ОтветитьI love listening to you! My mind works the same way! 🤣
ОтветитьHi Karen! Wow that is fantastic, so beautiful! Oh my gosh those colours are so cool, you can totally see the gold and other colours change in the sun! I'm really hoping I can get them in Australia. This was truly a labour of love and you've done an amazing job. It's been awhile so I hope you've managed to stay well and happy during these crazy times. I laughed so much when you said "I'm such a doofus" as it's something I call myself a lot when I do or say a clumsy thing 😄 Stay well and your beautiful self 😃💜🐨🥰
ОтветитьLove, love, love
Ответитьso beautiful.
ОтветитьI've loved Prima Art Alchemy colors for years...they have a dark metallic blue that is to die for....Metallique - Deep Waters. Great colors you picked.
ОтветитьLove, love, love!!! Is the lacing caused by the Australian floetrol or did you add silicon?
ОтветитьKaren, this series of paintings with the art alchemy colors are amazing. I loved them so much I ran out and bought them! Question about your pouring medium...I tried it and it seemed really thick and had lots of air bubbles that kept surfacing when I mixed it with the paint.... I used your recipe but am wondering if you have any suggestions or wondering if I am doing something wrong....???
ОтветитьHi, I have admired your work only from afar, but it is fabulous! Tried to read all the questions, but just missed my answer. About the base coat: a different can of white house paint? Or do you use the untinted deep base and add white paint/pigment? And last, do you keep it thinner than the pouring paint (like for a boom) or strive for the same consistency for flip cups? Sorry for three ?'s. Hope you don't have a limit. Jeanne
ОтветитьBelo trabalho..............! Parabens!
ОтветитьI did find them at Michaels in the embossing section (far from the paint area). The colors are beautiful (esp coral and yellow), BUT, they are in 3-packs for $15 per pack, so $45 for a complete set of 9 colors ($5 per paint). They are only 1.7 oz so they are pretty pricey for a small amount of paint. I did not mix them with the ultra-deep house paint for pouring medium and used only floetrol to mix. I will try your PM next time. The colors get lost in other paints with not many cells. Definitely use a coupon to get these, but I think the use of my Jewelescent mica pearl colors and interference powders might be a cheaper way to go. I am going to try that as well.
ОтветитьI loved this one so much, I went and got some of the same paints. I tried this today with these paints. I did 1 cup of the base with 1/2 cup of the polycrylic instead of 2 cups and 1 cup like you did and it was so thick :( My paints never looks like yours even when I use the same products, and same ratios it's weird. Are you still doing those skype sessions?
ОтветитьThey are interference colors. The colors will show up more or less depending on using a white or black base.
ОтветитьVery nice, colors awesome.
ОтветитьIt’s incredible!! I love the way the paints blend yet change in color!
Wow! The dry look is even more intense!! Can’t wait to try them out!!
What company has the art wash?
ОтветитьHow do you keep so clean ? I end up with paint up my arms and inside my gloves and my little dog has a green tip on her ear
ОтветитьBeautiful moment captured by your Artistic handing of pouring flow... hmmm
ОтветитьOh my gosh is right. That is absolutely beautiful. I loved watching you work and explain what you were doing. You're such a cutie I love to watch you work. LOL I will definitely be heading down to Michaels to get those paints. Thank you for sharing your beautiful art.
Ответитьcolor shift paints are one color on white, and the other color on black... Love your videos!!XO!
ОтветитьHi
I was wondering what would be best formula for just doing regular pourwith the alcomy paints. Love the painting too
After seeing all those beautiful beautiful cells am I have to go back to this and get some house paint
ОтветитьHi Karen, stupid question... that is 4 cups PLUS the 1/4 cup GAC, right? Not 4 cups total...
Thx ✌💜🌈

ОтветитьSo beautiful! Glad to know I can use art alchemy paints and possibly not just the opal Magic’s! I have yet to do a pour, but have been collecting stuff to do. I have art alchemy for mixed media, but can also attempt to do this! TFS
ОтветитьThis comment is coming late. I just watched the video and read the comment and reply to the person who complained about your support about the convicted convict. GOOD FOR YOU, MY FAVORITE PAINT POURER! I love that you don’t take any nonsense. Compassion and respect for every human's rights say tons about your heart and character!
