I listened to this song, this group during summer camp, high school, college, and patrolling the DMZ in Korea. We piped rock and rock to the North and they piped over classical music to us. Fun times!!

Stevie wrote this song when she was 27, and already feeling the weight of her life bearing down on her. The relationship with Lindsey was falling apart, she was isolated in the Colorado mountains while Lindsey was on the road with the Everly Brothers, she'd worked as a waitress and a domestic cleaning lady to support them, and she was tired. Their album "Buckingham Nicks" wasn't the commercial success they'd hoped for. And in the middle of her personal crisis she composed this brilliant, poignant song that we can relate to, because we know how it feels.

Two hearts once entwined ( I love you ) what a journey. They have been through both they're life together now separated and trust when one passes the other will be left with that golden thread that entwined them as one. All these musicians passing breaks my heart thank you for the magic carpet ride. I couldn't imagine my lifes background music without you both in it alongvwith Fleetwood. RIP Christine ❤

I remember being on vacation in the Outer Banks when Chris killed himself, and this came out the next day or something. I was just absolutely blown away. I’m still blown away.

I never connected with Chris’s music, but I thought about how many people did, and how beautiful of a tribute this was to everyone who he impacted who loved him. It was so thoughtful of her, and just an incredible interpretation of this song. I listened to it many times, and I still do. It’s powerful.

When she comes in with the words, and the crowd gets what’s happening, it’s special. Still makes the hair on my arms stand up and makes me tear up. Just beautiful.

The looks might be staged but it works really well .
Id have never let her go .
