Why Is My Ex Trying To Hurt Me

My ex is very mean to me when I try to talk to him and try to get him back. When I go a few days without texting him or calling him he'll text me and make me think he still cares then he starts being mean again once I start texting and calling him again. We were together for 4 years and we've only been broken up for a month. He told me he doesn't love me anymore just because I tried to talk to him about things. He has been adding lots of girls on Facebook even after I let him know that it bothered me. He is sending mixed signals. He told me we would never get back together and I stopped trying to get him back and trying to talk to him for a few days then we ran into each other at a store and he smiled at me and he told me he hasn't started seeing anyone new then he says "But I'm sure you have" (even though I'm not) I just laughed and didn't say yes or no. The next day he texted me and said "Since you're seeing someone new don't worry about what I'm doing". I really don't know why he keeps doing this. I don't know if we're going to get back together. Please give me some advice on this!

Hey I got a question for you how do you deal with your ex-girlfriend who you date for a year and ten months and she brake up with you and is by her self for 4 months and then she tell me she dateing a married guy??? I simply responded whatever your going through has nothing to do with me. Then she called twice during fathers day . Didn't pick up and been taking care of myself

My ex's life mission is to spy on my accounts and block me, he is trying his best to be mean and cruel and to make sure that I know he is over me and life is great without me! I am not sure wth I he doing I am thinking he is not being mature and I am not sure what do in this regard!

My ex dumped me, ran to a new guy. Moved him in. Went and got family photos. Went on vacation with him. Rubbed it in my face. Constantly does little things to get reactions out of me such as" were going to our cabin this weekend" or Makes it known that she with him. I ignore it all. Every time my ex sees me. He has to make a point to shout my name & has to be in my company..I try to be polite but I'm really not Interested. I used to chase my ex but then I went into no contact like 2 months later we I seen her in public with her new boyfriend and she kept asking me if I still got a problem with her I told her no I don’t as soon as I tried to get in my car she came to break my windshield. You can force someone to break up with you. Like your in love and you walk in on your partner with another girl. Or pretending you want to be married and children and years go by and you don’t want that.

I think they get mad at you for not chasing them because when they broke up with you they had it in their head that you would chase them - and if you don't - they get mad - its ego - they think they can break up with you to have one up on you - and then you actually let them go - and they feel unwanted cause you didn't chase. In other words the break up was intended to make you chase so they can feel validated - but when you didn't they actually feel rejected. WOW Mind games.
