These tribes have lived like this for thousands of years, no traffic, no alarms, no a^^hole bosses, no machines to repair, no mortgage payments to make, or any of the usual stresses of modern life. About 5 or 6 years ago, I heard about BlackRock so I looked at some stuff on their site. I found that VanGard (who I had my IRA with,,,at that time),had bought a slight majority of BlackRock's shares.. They were about to get going on a court case where they were going to try and take back some land that bumped up against the ''line drawn in the dirt'', that separated the 'tree-felled land, from the forest . Years before, someone had represented the Indigenous people , securing a contract from the Govt that said that was as far into the forest that the people felling the trees, could go. But now, BlackRock/Vangard want to break that contract. I accidentally found that article, on the BR site. Being profoundly NON-TECHY, I couldn't say how I tripped onto the article. This was down the the Amazon area.
