My bf broke up with me 3 weeks ago. We were dating to marry, we are both saved but he says that for him the relationship became an idol and he needs to focus solely on God.

I won’t say I’m not going through it but I honestly understand. I wouldn’t end the relationship without trying to refocus the relationship, I’d at least try to get him to understand that God has to be in the center…..but aye what can I do. He didn’t try he just walked away and it hurts…. He promised that we’d get married and serve God together sigh. All broken promises.

Convict Jason not to be scared of his feelings for me, show him his heart for me, and stop him from pushing me away out of fear. Show Jason he is safe with me. Break his lifetime of fear and feeling unsafe being emotionally connected/being in love. Turn Jason's heart toward You, Jesus, and toward me. Bring him home to me where he belongs.

Omg wish I heard this 18 years ago but I didn’t have that fire, I’m in marriage this long and all the church ppl say don’t give up God hate divorces, I couldn’t tell them anything so I took it to God and this year 2024 I heard the Holy Spirit say to me ‘come to me’ so I was like okay. God told me He wants to isolate me from my problem. I obeyed, now God is revealing to me His word “do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers” and another one “He will only bless what He put together” today I’m being reminded of God’s word everyday and God is showing me He not going to trim the branches of this toxic marriage, but He is going to cut down the whole tree woooohoooo, I already feeling blessed and joyful because God’s plan for me is greater than what the advisors were saying, I married because I was in love thats it, I was who I am today in Christ but I thank God that He showing me in this season of isolation that He loves me and He called me out because He wants to have an intimate relationship with me. If thats not love then what is😊 My friends the longer we take to recognize the lesson, is the longer we will take to get to the promised land. I’m trusting God and I’m trusting the process. I rather go with God in the unknown then live in this mess of a marriage with this disgusting individual
