Wow! There was some deflection but no breakage. I doubt you could find any material that heavy to be cutting on the stand. If you did I doubt the saw could cut through it. The wings are plenty strong for the purposes designed.

Well played with the load test. I think most people don't understand the might of the triangle.

I think this wing design would work well for a flip top stand for a miter saw and a planer.
