Just bought this backpack, everything's great, but did i miss a water bladder hose on this pack, or it didnt come with any? Because it comes with water baldder holder on the inside.. did any of u guys also have this issue?
ОтветитьThanks for the review! Have you experienced any creaking or squeaking noises emanating from the frame of the Bridger's you've tried? My Osprey Aether, which uses a similar wire frame system, makes a lot of noise at the bottom of the pack. There are some other people out there who have experienced similar problems with the wire frame system in their Osprey packs. The Bridger looks promising. But, I don't want to have to deal with unnecessary noise.
ОтветитьSizing Question??? I wanted to buy the terraframe 65. My question is should i downsize to the medium size backpack since the belt on the large is to large where as the medium is only 1 inch shorter than my torso but the belt is the right size? I am 21 inch torso and 33 inch waist. Please Help. I am new to backpacking and want an all around pack that will allow me to pack more weight for my girlfiend or child when they go...
ОтветитьDo these units hold water bladder systems?
Ответитьtorn between the Bridget 55 and 65
ОтветитьThe background music is destracting and annoying. Sorry.
ОтветитьNice to see they made a 45 liter version. I have the 55L and rarely fill it. My only wish was they chose better colors for the 45L. Offering the same colors as the 55L would have been cool. I guess the blue/grey isnt too bad but.. This 45L would make a great 3 season. Thanks for sharing! Hike on!!
ОтветитьMy only other complaint with the bridger besides color is just that small strange buckle that was hard for alot of people to even figure out. I think a normal itw nexus or fastex buckle would have been plenty good. You know the buckle im talking about im sure? Near the main drawstring. Works but weird buckle. Nip pickin kinda. Lol great pack!!
ОтветитьWhat size bag do you have M,L,XL?
ОтветитьI have the Bridger 55 and now the 35. The 35 is my day pack for hiking to mountain summits carrying HAM radio gear. Great comfortable packs.
ОтветитьLove this review. I really think the 35 would be an outstanding weekend trip pack, easily an overnighter.
ОтветитьDaypack was almost perfect, I want the large mesh front pocket and the side water bottle pockets need to be longer and larger.
ОтветитьLove the review. Where would you pack in the tent? Could it fit both the sleeping bag and a tent inside?
ОтветитьMan it's beautiful there. You must love your job.
ОтветитьIs there a spot for Hydration bladder?
ОтветитьThese packs are seriously awesome
ОтветитьWatched yours & Gideon tactical scree32 video for like 6 months before actually buying it 2 years ago lol. Best decision I’ve ever made when I decided I needed a better pack. Saved up for 6wks lol.
ОтветитьIs there Molly webbing on the bottom? Just curious.
ОтветитьYou are right on the weight I was looking pretty hard at these packs and the weight made me think 🤔 nah..
ОтветитьI agree that the double sternum harness is comfortable but only for the people who happen to fit it well. Since the height of the harness is attached to the yoke and rotates up as the yoke rotates down, the shorter people in the range will find the pockets on top of their shoulders. Perhaps a modular pocket system that holds it shape better. I also wish the zippers on the top loader and the sleeping bag compartment were more robust. I can see them wearing out in a life time of use.
Has anyone tried using one of these with an umbrella in one of the strap pockets (possibly with a secondary shock cord anchor further up the strap)? How well did that work?
ОтветитьThe torso adjustment option is a waste of money and is just a design and marketing gimmick. This is a $60 bag at best
Ответить👍👌
ОтветитьYou have sold me on the Bridgor but I'm not sure if I need a 55 or 65L. I was recommended the Ariel 65L at REI since I'll be a weekend warrior with an 8 year old, which means I'll be carrying extra gear. Solo I could be doing 3-5 days. Could you suggest one or the other based on that info please.
ОтветитьBridger 35 vs Coulee 30 - which one would you go with for technical hiking and bushwacking through dense forest on search and rescue missions?
ОтветитьI'd like to see a Bridger 45 Carryology colab.
ОтветитьWant to break into backpacking world. Is there any packs not as expensive to start with? Or worth it to just save up. I dont have a huge budget at all. But grew up saving to get expensive gear guns and tools that are actually worth it.
ОтветитьCould the 35L be used for some night only pack?
ОтветитьI’m looking at the Bridger and the Terraframe and really can’t decide 🤔 looking at for the comfort vs light wt for the PCT…appreciate and advice, thanks in advance. 🤙🏽 Currently have the HMG 3400
ОтветитьGreat video content on the Bridger, 45L looking at the PCT for a through hike. Currently opting for light wt/tent Durston X med Pro and Katabatic gear 22 degree quilt, with that said the wt saving with the other 2 items will allow me to have a extra 2lbs pack for comfort on for the long term of the daily miles over 4 1/2 months. Thanks for the content and in-depth review, can’t believe I might say goodbye to my HMG 3400 🤔🥲 not sure if I’ll notice the 5L difference in packs? Bridger 45 vs 50 HMG
ОтветитьI would love to see them offer a minimalist version of this pack with the same frame and materials but with a simple roll top design, no sleeping bag compartment, and some less straps and buckles. I love the load bearing ability and overall layout but they could cut some serious weight by making some tweaks.
ОтветитьMystery Rancher Bridger 35L dimension (24"x12"x12") can it be compressed down to 22" for airline carry-on size limit?
ОтветитьCan you carry a BV 475 in that pack??
ОтветитьAs a new backpacker what would you choose, the 45 or 55L? I doubt I’ll do cold weather trips and I’ll only be doing 2-3 nights tops
ОтветитьYeti will ruin this once phenomenal brand i have pride in owning a few of the original bags from a few years ago.
ОтветитьI love this bag, but I also like the terraframe 50 liters and now I'm looking at the Fjallraven KEB 45 liters they say it's also very baggy but I have no idea which one is better quality
ОтветитьI did the GR11 in Spain last year with the Durston 40L and found my shoulders and hips were getting sore with only 25lbs. I definitely want to try this pack out.
Ответитьen verano seria una mochila increíble, podría pasar hasta cuatro noches con ella.
ОтветитьQUESTION. Looking at Bridger 45L typically for 2-3 day trips, maybe 4-5 days on the high end. Considering it with Tarptent Moment DW, Nemo Tensor Extreme UL pad, Nemo Disco bag... I believe all that will fit easily. The real question is can it also hold a Bear Vault 450, 3L water bladder, and still have room for clothing layers? Any advice welcome.
ОтветитьHi Eric, having watched a few of your product review videos, I understand your affinity to Mystery Ranch's backpacks. My question concerns size, most notably whether to select the 55 or 65. Realizing this is sort of a loaded question, basically, if your are primarily interested only 2-3 day treks is it safer to go with a larger pack or would you be caring around stuff and weight you really don't need? To qualify my hiking preferences, most milder weather and average terrain, nothing extreme. Any insight on your part would be appreciated.
ОтветитьAlways great to see a Mystery Ranch fan clue others in on the magic they make. I've used them for 20 years now and today, a year on from this video, I use the Radix line of lighter-weight backpacking packs they make. They run on average about a pound lighter and ten litres more in capacity for a given pack in the Bridger series. I own some of both and all are outstanding gear. Thanks Eric!
ОтветитьLeave them Ultra weak alone. How many search and rescue would be out of a job dragging trendy ,weak hearted,un prepaired off the trail.
I can really get down with a Hefty Bag backpack .007 oz that you pay $700 for,and makes it all the way to the helicopter ride off the trail
Haha. Satire my friend. Mostly.
From the future I just dumped all my 5.11 stuff and ordered the bridger off optics planet for $234
5,11 really blew it. Mystery Ranch bound now.
Going to be checking the 45 out tomorrow at our local hiking/backpacking store, biggest selling point for me are the zippers to open up the back rather than having to dig down into the pack to find something and generally having to take most of the packed stuff out. I've had my eye on the Radix 47 but our local store doesn't carry it, at least not yet.
ОтветитьHi, could someone help me by letting me know, what would the smallest height of the 45, completely empty? Thanks
Ответить@BackpackingTV Do you find the front strap pockets large enough to accommodate a bear spray can? I have a mammut pack that has the similar strap mesh for water bottle but overall dont like the Mammut pack. Also do you know if it has built in Rain cover? I dont know why any backpack company doesn't make the rain guard standard as a dual purpose function both for rain and high visibility (safety)
ОтветитьAlthough the pack is heavier than other light weight packs, the strap and belt system makes it carry so much more comfortable. This allows me to carry it better/longer/further than I can a pack that might weigh 1 pound less. I absolutely live my Bridger 35L so today I just bought the Bridger 45L for winter so I can pack my winter gear easier.
ОтветитьMystery Ranch's outdoors business has quadrupled since 2019...looks like it won't take YETI long to SCREW that up !
Once I discovered Mystery Ranch, I never bought a backpack from anyone else - superior quality and durability.
I currently own four different Mystery Ranch backpacks and a couple of EDC packs, for different needs :
Bridger 65 liter (multi-day hike / camp)
RADIX 47-liter (lightweight multi-day, long section hike / camp)
Scree 32-liter (Daypack)
District 18-liter (EDC / Technical gear)
Distrrict 4 (EDC)
Forager 2.5-liter Hip Pack
Glad I purchased them all when I did...I'm well set for years to come. I will NEVER purchase a YETI foreign made aberration of a Mystery Ranch backpack.
Good review-thanks. I just ordered a Bridger 35..I’m a climbing guide in Utah and need a robust good weight carrying pack to carry 25-35 pound loads-my gear and extras for clients..while still having a fairly slim profile so it doesn’t get in the way while climbing.
I’m curious if the harness adjustment tool you used comes with the pack..having one would be very useful to adjust the pack to fit around my climbing harness and as needed when I change the load.
What do you use to carry your camera?
