Great demo I want to order this but was not sure of its performance
ОтветитьHi, is there any way to focus the flames on the Iwatani 35FW for use with a round bottom wok? (ideally there should be a single flame coming up into the center of the wok)
ОтветитьI love mine, fantastic stove
ОтветитьIs there such an item, as a gas canister case/ container for storing canisters in.
ОтветитьI want to buy this but I don’t have access to an Asian grocery store for the canisters.
ОтветитьMade of... aluminum or tin??
ОтветитьDo these simmer good, I.e. cooking converted rice and veggies? (Chiefly for power outages that last for a while)
Smaller, 750 ml pots, and a griddle now and then…
i love mine but i duno about 2 cans a week. Its a bit overkill. even tho they are only a few bucks each. I wouldnt want to full time use it if its more than 1. maybe im just not good with it yet. need more practice.
ОтветитьYeah but dont they explode if they get to hot also? Id rather loose some gas than have it over heat. yes?
ОтветитьQuestion here: I was looking to purchase this exact model for indoor use in my home kitchen because I have recently gotten into cooking a lot more Chinese food at home and even bought a new wok but I only have an electric stove and I'm just simply not getting the stir frying results that I'm looking for. The wok I bought recommended using a gas burner of 14000 btu for the best results. So my question is, would this be safe to use it at home in my kitchen?
ОтветитьAmazing review! Thank you! How is it holding up after a year? I've been thinking about getting one to cook outside. Thanks!
ОтветитьHow does it work with 12" pans.
I'm using hexclad. There's so much metal.
I'm 90% sure it will work fine
Japanese quality!
ОтветитьThis burner is amazing. I can scramble 4 eggs in way less than 2 minutes start to finish with a horrible pan. Using coconut oil.
ОтветитьMaxim is korea coffee brand.
ОтветитьThanks for the sharing. Does it come with a carry case?
ОтветитьAnyone know where a Californian can get the Iwatani Butane Canisters since I can't buy them from Amazon? I'll check some Asian markets I guess.
ОтветитьDoes it use more gas?
ОтветитьGreat review, thank you. I'm looking at the VA-30 model. 12000 BTU's are enough for me
ОтветитьWhere can i buy this coffee and which one is better?
ОтветитьI have owned this cooktop for a long time but was afraid to turn it on and have it explode. I now have the confidence to give this a go. Thank you for your wonderful tutorial.
ОтветитьImpossible to cook eggs or pancakes on my stove everything rolls to one side i need a hot plate i like this one
ОтветитьI like that really useful well made simple operation. I have a msr backpack stove for super tiny spaces runs on butane fuel ill do a video on to show. I subbed to your channel great review of product.
ОтветитьSo... Iwatani says it only works with their own cans... But you're using a generic butane can in this video, correct? That works just as well from what I see? Great video!! Thank you so much.
ОтветитьOutstanding video - as well as your kindness and generosity in responding in the comment section!
Bless you mate
was way easier to attach butane than I originally imagined
ОтветитьHow long does one can last? Such as how many times could I cook a proper meal before I need to change cans? I definitely want one, but I'm just trying to gage my cooking process so as not to run out right in the middle of cooking. That would suck big time considering I plan on going places where stores won't be convenient to get to...let alone actually have what I need.
Ответитьiwatani butane is like $8 each; apparently they will eject themselves when too hot. but i wasnt clear regular canisters will work. are there any gotcha's?
ОтветитьCan this model take any type of standard butane canister? ...i mean can it take the the typical canisters you whould find at hardware stores or is it a branded canister....hope this makes sence.
ОтветитьFixing the ignition system: think of the 'igniter' as the spark plug on a gasoline engine. That white piece is probably ceramic, being used as an electrical insulator. If it gets covered in grease and/or carbon it will break down electrically, and the igniter will not spark............just the same as a car spark plug.
So.... always keep that clean, and it will work, so long as the piezo unit works. If you can see marks on the insulator consistent with electrical tracking.... the insulator is ruined and needs replacement. In an emergency you could grind or scrape the tracking marks off the insulator, with a reasonable chance of making it work......but replace it asap (the insulator and whatever comes with it, if it is a a pre-assembled complete unit)
Do we need to remove cartridge after use?
ОтветитьThanks for the review, the stove look good, I like that it is made out of aluminum and not sheet metal. How is it holding up, do you still have it? I worry there maybe a cold spot in the center as the flames seems to shoot off to the side.
Ответитьconvection.
ОтветитьHow well would this work with a wok?
Ответитьthanks.
ОтветитьExcellent review! I'm ordering one of these today. How long or how many meals does a can usually last for?
ОтветитьThe cartridges get hot over long cooking periods in fact very hot because the shielding is rubbish!!!!
ОтветитьWhere i can buy one i live in canada toronto
ОтветитьI’m planning of buying this. Do I need to remove the butane canister every time after cooking? I will only use it ones a day for minor cooking. I think it’s not practical if I will remove it everytime after cooking. Thanks
ОтветитьHow's the simmer level?
ОтветитьMaxim coffee brand is Korean brand. Iwatani is the Japanese one XD
ОтветитьNice review. I have a couple of these for power outages, but they are cheap quality. I wish these could be adapted for my refillable Fuel Kegs or Flame King 1 pound propane bottles like the Gas One 3900 model.
ОтветитьCan the butane tank be left in place on the burner, or should it be removed when done cooking?
ОтветитьI agree that Coleman stove burner is a piece of shit and their butane cans. This Japanese stove burner is just fantastic. They make different models, so of them fancier and some smaller but powerful
ОтветитьThere is no simmer for this beast. It works great and everything cooks quickly because of the 15,000 BTU's, so watch how you cook on this thing. I would use this for a wok, like fried rice.
ОтветитьTried to find your maxim Japanese instant coffee, and all I can find on Amazon is Korean maxim coffee.
ОтветитьA word to the wise in regard to quality.
You can buy cheap and replace shorty after or spend a little extra and get quality that will perform and last.
Buy once, cry once.
Buy twice, cry twice.
The choice is yours.
What about Iwatani Cassatte grill TATSUJIN Slim iii CB-SS-50 ? This looks good and my wife love's it a lot..I'm concerned about the safety and want to provide best for her..Thanks
ОтветитьPuede usar cualquier marca de combustible de butano?
Ответить
