This is all very poetic, but hardly substantiative. Trusting your gut often leads down familiar paths, and Christianity saturates Western philosophy.

Math & music, human creations just like swords & mormonism. Love, oxytocin in the brain. All 3 point to God? The divine chemist and toolmaker? God looks very Greek, Zeus?

It may be part of God’s design of our reality that it is both possible to find existence meaningless and find purpose in something like music, mathematics or human relationships.

You’re unknowingly digging yourself into a hole . The human experience of meaning is neither confined to, nor evidence of the exclusive validity of Christianity. I say you’re digging a hole for yourself because you’re making life outside Christianity appear more and more bleak and meaningless in order to prop up Christianity. You’re allowing the religion to swallow so much that a collapse of that religion becomes all encompassing. You’re painting the outside world to be so meaningless that once you arrive there, you will have to lay in the bed you’ve made of it. Experiences of language, math, music, and love are not evidences of any deity, they are wonderful byproducts of feeling, social, pattern seeking creatures.

Laughable. Christians are always impressed by someone opining in a soft voice while making baseless assertions. I'm surprised there isn't a little soft music to top it off.

I disagree with much of what Gavin says, but believe he is honest and trying to pursue truth. I think he will eventually leave Christianity because he’s been digging deeper into its roots. I see signs of it already.

One thing i learn recently is that 1000 years is equal to 1 day for God. So to God time moves a lot slower. According to theory of relativity this can only be achieved if you have the ability to move at the speed of light, or in biblical sense you are that Light it self.
