Whenever I see those Mr. Beast ads on the NYC subway, it feels so dystopian. One of the most soulless smiles I've ever come across.

This whole situation made me realize that people that publicly show off how "charitable" they are on social media are just as corrupt as any rich person that uses their money for more nefarious things. The former just cares more about having adoring fans that will defend them to the death, well, until the bubble pops and all the garbage comes out and people realize all of this in hindsight. It was all in plain sight and we just ignored it because we thought he was a good guy that was just trying to help. It hurts that we were all wrong and he's just as cruel as the rest of them.

The thing is, if Mr. Beast genuinely cared about giving back he could have used the fame and money he got from his charity videos to try to create more lasting change. Like, the helping blind people see video is taking off? Maybe you can create a foundation to help people pay off that surgery, or to relieve medical debt in general. Maybe you can organize a calling campaign to leverage for better healthcare policies or disability rights. He has a platform that could be used to create real good, but is more interested in the big dramatic gestures that only really serve his own fame and fortune.

Considering he’s still pulling over 100 million views per video to this day I wouldn’t say he’s having a downfall.

I’ve held this in for SOOOO long because Mr.Beast was so widely loved butttt…. My gut always said there was something off about him. I never really liked him, I think because I saw through him and what he was doing. People trust him way too much. I always thought it was so gross that he would make struggling people do odd things for money, it’s like he would use money and hold it over people’s heads and use charity to manipulate.

I do agree mr beast content is questionable. But I will defend his charity. At least he doing something.

FWIW as a former meet eater turned vegetarian (and who misses a good burger) the one actual MrBeast Burger at the American Dream Mall in NJ is pretty good.

But what we will do by knowing Mrbeast is greedy or not 😅😅😅

If you donate enough money, it will offset the tax you pay. What's more clever than opening your own charity to donate to.

Jimmy is clearly likely using the money he gains from his philanthropic & reaction towards claiming this amount as a deduction of his taxes. Aka allowing him to have little to any tax payments 🙂 he’s not really being that charitable when you realise these vulnerable human beings are being exploited for their stories or hard times for these videos where they themselves will never see any of the money. If anything it’s likely he’s giving away just enough to gain enough tax deductions and have a bulletproof branding system.
Not to mention the recipients of these luxury items or money WILL have to pay the tax. It’s incredibly icky and morally bankrupt.
