that makes me happy every-time. Don’t get me wrong, every animal is amazing in their own way and has a purpose. But orcas are just major bullies of the ocean. They sometimes hunt just for fun, and they’ve been recorded playing with their kill and then not even eating it. Dolphins are also just as bad. Dolphins (including orcas) and sharks remind me of gorillas and chimps. Everyone thinks chimps are funny and cuddly while gorillas are big and intimidating. Meanwhile it’s completely backwards, gorillas are somewhat gentle and chill. Chimps on other hand, they are complete psychopaths. Same with dolphins and sharks. Yes dolphins are smart and helpful to humans, but they’re psychopaths to the rest of the ocean and themselves. Meanwhile sharks are normally chill if you’re not bleeding or panicking (making them think you’re a threat to them). Not only that, you can manipulate a shark to an extent, you can even put them sleep by applying certain pressure to their snout, but you can’t do that to a dolphin or orca. If a dolphin or orca decides to kill you, you’re just screwed regardless and you might even be screwed literally lol.

Humpback whales are the only known animals that go after orcas. They hate them bc the orca will eat their young if given the chance. They are even known to just kick orcas out of the area to save the prey of the orca, so the orca has to starve. And although sperm whales are far more dangerous than humpbacks and have been known to kill orcas, it is only in defense, they are never the aggressor because it’s not worth the trouble to try and eat them when they can just eat colossal and giant squid instead. So yeah, the humpbacks and orcas have a gang war that’s been going on for years 😂
