I LOVE the analog horror influence!! I've wondered for a while what a fusion between rock and AH would sound like, and I think I just got my answer.
And the CHORDS man... the second he strums the guitar you know its Holy Fawn. They seem to use a certain type of chords that I wouldn't be able to name because of my lack of knowledge in music theory. But the way they make me feel is such a cool and unique vibe. So dreamy, nostalgic, and dark.
Also, I can't help but get Armor For Sleep vibes, ESPECIALLY in the live version where his higher chest voice notes are in front for a bit instead of the screams. I think if he were to sing emo vocals he'd sound exactly like Ben Jorgensen. And I think there's a crossover between the guitar riff influences. Especially with that first chord in this one being the first chord in my favorite song by Armor For Sleep, Walking At Night, Alone.
I also adore the ambient siren-like guitar in the outro. And the NAME, which couldn't be any cooler.
