Love this track, and the metaphor. I've been dealing with depression and anxiety for about 30 years, but I only actually realised that about 15 years ago. Coming back to the metaphor, and the video title, in my experience, there is no "cure" rather, depression and anxiety are illnesses that you need to learn to live with. There's definitely things that you can do to make it easier to live with. But there is no magic bullet.
ОтветитьI managed to race the first two turns without ever braking, but then I didn't line up good enough for the very last turn and skid outside the track.
ОтветитьThat is a deep cut Kosmo, congrats on making it relevant and meaningful
Ответитьlast second scrap man lose 1st please? but he was 1st till the end
ОтветитьTo Kan: “you don’t need your house? Or your business? Or your head? So can I have those please?
Ответитьawesome track and metaphor with depression
ОтветитьThe fact that he made a Depression map and that you have to struggle (the first 2 turns) and then you find help thought it (the invisible track) is an intense metaphor and insanely smart. I love this track.
Ответитьi love the metaphor, as someone with plenty of experience with depression i can confirm all of this is accurate, probably could've added some fake more noticeable cheeses to show sometimes there are ways you think could be a cure that are more obvious when in reality they aren't and you just have to keep looking for the true solution that is often hidden from sight
the fact that you have so many people playing the track as well adds to the metaphor, showing that many people struggle with depression, and nobody is alone in it
Solution to depression scrapman
ОтветитьIts funny how this is portayed, as there are no shortcuts into curing your depression...
Ответитьman that title killed me x)
ОтветитьKosmo, that was beautiful. Depression is not easy to explain but your metaphor is pretty spot on. Thank you
ОтветитьWow. This is next level man.
ОтветитьWhere are the bad jokes, men who thinks he can complain need to grow a pair
ОтветитьWow this is deep
ОтветитьThis video was deep. 😔 Feel free to screenshot.
ОтветитьI love this, that is an awesome idea, thank you.
Ответить"Nah you have to pay me 150 bucks an hour..." dang XD That's too real man too real XD
ОтветитьI don't remember subscribing to you but I'm glad I did
ОтветитьYou've simultaneously made a good metaphor for depression and suicide 🙃
I cope by making dark jokes and my goodness this intro.
Really nicely edited thumbnail!
ОтветитьI hate to be "that guy" but at 150$ an hour with Scrapman's 12.866 second time he'd only owe you like 54 cents. 3600 seconds in an hour 150/3600=.0416, .0416*12.866=.536 so yeah, he only owes you like 54 cents... I guess you're either the best therapist ever or the worst... Lmao no idea which <3
Edit: wrote this up before the end of the video, he improved his time so it's even less!
On a serious note, it's nice to see other gamers make it a point to acknowledge the seriousness of mental health. You have gained a lifetime fan for it
The fact that someone named "invisible" got a time 4 seconds faster than others, really makes me believe they used the invisible path.
ОтветитьBeen 3 years sence i moved to.a better place but sometimes depression still hits...hide it well tho cuz ur vids are funny af
ОтветитьAlso...mans said mental adventures
ОтветитьWhat is the game called?
ОтветитьKosmo, you're a good dude. I loved this. Great metaphors, brother.
Ответитьkeep something else in mind: we love you, and we thank you so much, for everything!!!
greetings from germany! thanks for your words!
There’s another metaphor in this track. Depression is especially harder for people with other mental disorders such as adhd because sometimes you need to slow down and look at the bigger picture/do stuff slowly and adhd brain doesn’t like that.
ОтветитьHonestly I've been feeling depressed lately and to each their own. Making fun of the situation helps. So thanks for this one 🤣
ОтветитьNot a train....
Ответитьkosmo are you alright?
ОтветитьIntrusive thoughts: You should eat an entire can of cream cheese frosting.
ОтветитьI don't think there's anything I can say that hasn't already been said but as someone with various mental illnesses I appreciate this video
Ответитьcure for depression just jump off the ledge lmao
Ответитьas someone who's had severe chronic depression for nearing 2 decades, joking about it is perfectly acceptable and not something you should have to apologize for
Ответитьkosmo is so nice it makes up for everyone elses meanness
ОтветитьScrap man’s back
ОтветитьAs someone who is depressed, humor is the best way to handle it and deal with it, so imo you should never have to apologize for joking about it
My belief is that the people who get offended by depression jokes are people who use their depression as their personality, so by insulting depression they feel personally attacked, I guess
Only 52k views for a really solid metaphor. You can really cur out like 3 minutes of you disclaiming its not maliscious. Anyone that has depression or has experienced it can instantly tell you have felt it personally with how incredible this metaphor is.
It makes me sad that you are trailing so much in subs. I hope you find your niche, and maybe these metaphorical tracks are it!
I also don't leave my house much and my neighbor said something similar lol.
Ответить... looking back into this video... yeah no andme13 was hacking
Ответитьthe invisible path only skips the easy part of the course
ОтветитьThe thought you put behind it made me cry :3 (in a good way)
ОтветитьI have a painful idea (idk if I can explain it) so there is a jump platform but you have to go right onto an upside down platform with a "half loop" to the next checkpoint. I hope you notice and understand this
ОтветитьThe invisible road could also represent a better way of thinking you didn't know existed until you found it for yourself. We don't know what we don't know. If we did, we'd know. Self discovery is difficult, but worth it.
