I always found this reveal to be heartbreaking, mostly because it would've been nice to see Rita more. Charlize did such a good job.

Larry is my favorite joke on the whole show. The deadpan delivery, the randomly showing up in the background of scenes just having nondescript arguments to the air (with George). Him always going off script and doing awful things. Amazing

I like that the jokes about Rita were always clumsy misinterpretations by narcissistic people, and that they wrapped things up in a kind of sweet way, while still getting a good laugh. The comedy never felt mean at her expense.

When Rita’s uncle yelled her name in that accent I realized the writers on the show are beyond geniuses and the olympics joke too

I just got that her name is Rita, which sounds kinda close to something else.

rita and michael were so beautiful, they had an amazing and adorable relationship.
even though it wasn’t meant to be, I will always love their relationship and how they honestly were.

Rita's exit is one of the most beautiful moments I've ever seen on a sitcom. So wonderfully done, so poignant.

Rewatching AD, Rita is by far my favorite love interest for Michael! I adored the way she balanced him out and it seemed like he really loved her. It’s a shame that they weren’t meant to be but their departure was sweet and memorable
