an unfair judge?
ОтветитьGood show
ОтветитьIf you ever come to London take a walk along Strand-on-the-Green by Kew Bridge and near the Bull's Head pub, overlooking the Thames is a house, also overlooking the Thames, with a blue plaque on the front, It says that the house was where Donald Pleasance used to live. I daresay he sank a few in the Bull's Head too.
ОтветитьIn today's court setting, nobody cares about guilt OR innocence, they want and need convictions. There's big money in privatized prisons, problem is you NEED to fill them. Another HUGE problem, many today have no conscious in the courts, whatever their position. Hopefully you never have to find this out the HARD WAY.
Ответитьu saw mr lawrance at speakers corner
Ответитьthis is reminiscent of the Twilight Zone: The Arrival
ОтветитьDonald Pleasance was great in t.z. changing of the guard
ОтветитьThis is a twist on Poe's A telltale heart.
ОтветитьWhy should he carry the guilt when it should be the wife.
ОтветитьPlease list ten actors better than Donald P…I’ll wait
ОтветитьDidn't people carry any Identity cards or documents in those days ?
ОтветитьA fine English actor, yes. But, I had to take a second look at Donald Pleasence, being amazingly unrecognizable in the 1965 western comedy "The Hallelujah Trail".
ОтветитьHe was great on Columbia as well
ОтветитьI just began viewing this story and I can already see this is going to be excellent 👌!
ОтветитьPowerful and haunting tale!
ОтветитьI was lucky to see Donald Pleasance on stage back in (...I reckon...) 1990. He was in the revival of 'The Caretaker', alongside Colin Firth. His performance was mesmerising.
Thanks for putting this on here.
Lucifer chuckling and rubbing his hands together
No wonder the paper looks scorched
Great show by Sir Donald Pleasance 👏
ОтветитьBarrister Harvey Lawrence. Can anyone track down information on him?
ОтветитьThank you for this upload…you just made my evening by the fire even better!
ОтветитьThis reminds me of the British horror story "Casting the Runes," by M.R. James. The device of someone haunted by a piece of paper that does not leave him is very similar in both stories.
ОтветитьWhen television and story telling was at its pinnacle.
ОтветитьWoah. These are really based on true stories?
ОтветитьI remember Donald in an episode of columbo with Julie Harris. He was wonderful. Stole the show
ОтветитьGreat artist we miss his talent
ОтветитьThat's POET'S CORNER in HYDE PARK, LONDON.
ОтветитьAstounding and wonderful acting and ep.
ОтветитьImagine allowing another human being to hang just to get a promotion.
ОтветитьDitto! Dont make'em like that any more.
ОтветитьDonald plesance utter genius as an actor
ОтветитьOh Donald Pleasance great! Great episode!
ОтветитьInteresting story, didn't see this one before. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьHe could have and should have followed up on the woman/wife's appearance despite his doubts. The trial could have been held in abeyance.
ОтветитьProsecutor's still convict innocent people .
ОтветитьI learned of him because of his roles in major films about Jesus Christ
ОтветитьThe rare episodes were made in the UK
ОтветитьLOVE DONALD PLEASANCE!
BRAVO!
Donald Pleasance a truly great actor
Great episode
Donald's part in the movie The Great Escape also well done.
ОтветитьThe confessor. The same character as the bum in the caretaker. Great performance.
ОтветитьThanks 👍 for sharing this 😊😊❤❤
ОтветитьI remember Donald Pleasance in a touching Twilight Zone episode, "The Changing of the Guard".
ОтветитьDonald Pleasance always made his character portrayals believable.
ОтветитьYoung Dr. Loomis… 🎃❤
ОтветитьLoved Him as Blofeld in You Only Live Twice🎬📽️🎭🎟️
ОтветитьPleasance was a high indemand actor in so many shows and movies. He was on this and the Twilight Zone and Outer Limits. Quite a run in those years. Of course he is always remembered as Dr. Loomis.
ОтветитьCitizen arrest. Notify police she is claiming to be wife and aware husband is accused of her murder, and refusing to become a prosecution witness to prevent a miscarriage of justice. It'll stand to get her in court.
ОтветитьWhat would you do?
