Why do people leave the skin on? Leaving the skin on makes the taste more fishy and oily. I have cooked for 30 plus years and still can’t get over why people keep the skin on. I understand the crispy skin thing, but just do the skin by itself if you want Kristy skin. If it’s for sticking on the grill purposes , then just take the skin off and rub some mayonnaise on the fish before grilling.
I know taste is subjective, and that some people like the Fishy taste, however I’m not a fan of skin left on because of the oil transfer alone
Instead of your 'blessed' salt, can I use Himalayan or other complex salt?
We like Smoked Murray salt, too.
