Very sad. That,s what happens where the worst rides and controls the best in us.
Reforms are aimed at saving cost and engineering due process and efficiency .
But in Nigeria political profligacy and malfeasance is a kill culture.

Nigeria should go IMF for help. There is nothing wrong with that. Nigeria needs it to restructure its help. Nigeria has done what IMF suggested to them. It needs IMF, Ghana went to IMF and GDP grew 6.9% last quarter. There is no shame asking for help. Nigeria doesn't want to be on the program. Nigeria's gdp per capita $877, less than Togo and Benin.

Nigeria's budget is oneof the lowest in Africa. Reduction in expenditure will have a devastating effect on the economy.

Tinubu is very clearly not capable of bringing any growth to the Nigerian economy, he has the first 4 years to show that especially as he is seeking re election , but he has failed woefully, if we make the mistake of letting him go a second term, that spells doom, he will have no motivation to do anything since he will not be seeking re-election .

If Colonial Institutions like the IMF and WORLD BANK tell you your country is not doing well. It means their policies and agenda are not pushed.

Official cars especially those for National Assembly should not be boarded to anyone after their term. It should remain for official use. We can't be buying official cars every 4yrs. 4yr old car in Nigeria is still a new car. The Govt should stop importing official cars they should buy made in Nigeria and stop wasting money.Haba!

It seems that Charles Bwala and Onanuga are all stooges of Tinubu due to the way he is being interrogating his guest?

IMF policy reform is always nosedive.
No country, listen to IMF again.

This so called expert is just mincing words. Would it be that he's one of the advisers who suggest some of the draconian policies of Tpain government. No European countries nor America listens to IMF. IMF is a tool to control and impoverish Africa in exchange for our natural resources to develop the west.

When they are looting the money forcefully collected from the extremely poor masses back. There will be no change. Things will get worse.

For a sensitive and sensible leadership, this IMF finding should inform government decisions (policy). The common man on the street knows the reform is not working. This panelist is not clearly communicating, tongue-in cheek!

No confusion! Reform is not working in Nigeria. Contradicting policies under Tinubu! Simple! What is the position of the panelist? His recommendation on rethinking by government is the way forward. But will Tinubu administration rethink or remain stubborn?
